Taffy update🧡🧡

Taffy got his blood results back. Sadly, the giardia has made him anaemic, and his neutrophils are low, which means his immune system is having a tough time.

The good news: he’s still eating and purring! This little man is such a fighter.😻

He’s booked back in a few days for his next B12 injection and a chat with our vet about his bloods.

Taffy Update!🧡

Our boy had his weigh-in today and… HE’S 500g!! 🎉

Mixing boiled chicken with I/D + Mother & Baby Cat wet food has been the magic combo.

His belly is still very, very big, though, so our vet did a quick ultrasound today. Good news: NO free fluid 🙏 She’s also running bloods and we’ll know more on Thursday.

For now we’re continuing his special diet + weekly B12 injections. He’s bright, purring, and has so much love to give. What a fighter little Taffy is! 😻🧡🧡

Update on Taffy 🧡🧡

Poor little boy still isn't thriving 😢 in a week he has only put on 20g. 420g as a 7 week old kitten reslly isn't ideal. We have noted that the last few vet checks his big belly. It's hard to know in kittens if this is normal or something else. Especially since his poor gut was ruined from having giardia. Our plan for the next few days is to try to get him to eat more, adding in some boiled chicken. Revisit the vet, and if no improvement or weight gain further testing is needed. At this stage, there could be a possibility of FIP. Please keep sending all your love. We need all the support 🧡🧡🧡

If you are in the position of helping with donations, Taffy is going through so many puppy pads and blankets, and he would love a soft cuddly teddy to help keep him company. I can tell since losing his sister he is craving that attention.

Sorry for the lack of posts!
It's been very busy here. Just wanted to update you all with Renley. He's doing really well! He's secretly loving this cold weather... more snuggles in comfy blankets 😻😻 we will have a vet visit soon to discuss further options such as anti anxiety medication to help reduce more stones and UTIs 🧡🧡🧡

Little Taffy is doing so well! What a miracle kitty. He is thankfully eating so well and putting on weight. Taf finished his meds on sunday. He does still have some runny 💩 Hopefully, this is just his poor, tiny tummy healing. We will check his 💩 again to make sure there is no more giardia later this week along with his weekly b12 injection. 🧡🧡🧡

Little Taffy is only just holding on. He's sadly losing weight and still has horrible diareah. Taffy went back to the vet today. Since he isn't thriving, we decided to say goodbye. Such a crazy amount of emotions today. Later in the afternoon, the vet rang back and said his stool sample came back positive for Giardia. And Taffy was still fighting. We are to start him back on more meds to treat the Giardia and give him till Friday . If he has lost weight and still has horrible poo, the kindest thing is to let him go. Keep fighting, little man. Please, everyone, keep him in your thoughts. If you can also donate towards his medical, treatment, food, and cleaning supplies, please, I need all the help I can.

Rest easy, Coral Reef💓

Last night, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little girl. She declined so quickly and unexpectedly, and even though we tried everything, her tiny body couldn’t keep fighting.

Coral Reef was the gentlest soul. In between the hard times, she still loved playing with toys and wrestling her brother. She was able to enjoy warm wet food and formula like it was the best thing in the world.

She was only here for a short time, but she filled our hearts. We’ll miss her so much. Thank you for the light you brought us, Coral. Run free now, little one 🌈

The little babies have started on another medication and probiotics along with a specialised diet to help firm up that horrible 💩! They have graduated from the bottle to now lapping milk themselves (also eating/ swimming in the wet food, haha!) Thankfully, they have an appetite. But they are still very underweight at 4 weeks old, only weighing 300g.

Please send all your love and support. If anyone is able to help with donations towards medical bills, food, or cleaning supplies, this will be so helpful.

Looking after neonatal kittens is exhausting, but looking after neonatal kittens with a serious illness is unbelievably exhausting. I need all the help even if you can not donate, sending love, sharing menbs so much!

We need your help! 🧡🧡🧡

Sorry for the lack of updates on our tiny babies. It's been a BIG week! So much cleaning, feeding, medicating, bathing. Did I say cleaning!? Sadly, the kittens are still very sick. Leaking 💩 sick! They have had to go back to the vet multiple times. We have started on more medication to treat a microscopic parasite.

How can you help
