Beautiful Peaches update 🍑 🧡

This sweet girl who was about to be euthanise due to her abnormal ribcage.

After a specialist appointment with MASH, we found out:

Six of her seven sternum bones are unaffected therefore 90% of her rib cage is normal with no impact to heart and minimal impact to lungs (after 6th bone it’s mostly diaphragm, so lungs are not really affected at all). The softness you can feel is skin and muscle, a little more exposed. As she has no exercise or breathing difficulties, her case is very mild, and surgery is not required.

After such great news! Little Peaches went to a new foster carer with a potential to adopt!......

We are so happy to announce that little Peaches 🍑 has found her furever loving home. She has amazing parents and a fur sister ( Ally who was also adopted from us!) Such a great outcome for a beautiful kitty! 😻😻

Today marks the end of an incredible journey. After 5 years of rescuing, nurturing, and finding loving homes for countless kittens, we're closing down our cat rescue. We're immensely grateful for the unwavering support and generosity from our community and for every single donation that made our work possible. A huge thank you to all the dedicated volunteers who selflessly gave their time to transport, foster, and care for these precious fur babies. Your kindness has made a lasting impact on so many lives. While this chapter may be closing, the love and compassion we've shared will continue to ripple out into the world. Thank you for being a part of our mission to save and cherish every tiny life. Sweet but cheeky Miles recovering well 😻 he lovessss his tummy rubs 🧡🧡

Please officially welcome Chilli 🌶 Chilli came to us about a week and a half ago after being trapped. Him, his mum and a sibling were strays living under someone’s shed. Chilli was trapped and came into care with us. When taking in cats that haven’t had a lot of human exposure, it’s always a bit of a gamble what you’re going to get. Chilli started off a bit nervous but came around very quickly when he realized how nice it is to have a soft, warm bed and a full belly. He has found his purr and is turning into a perfect, confident little man who enjoys a good butt scratch. He currently has free roam of the house when I am home, and he loves hanging out with me and the other cats. A huge thanks to everyone who donated food to help. ❤️ And a hug thank you to @cherrytreefosters For opening up her home to take care of this sweet boy 😻 🌶 Chilli will be up for adoption at the start of the new year!

Please help! 🧡 Our sweet boy Miles is currently at the vet as he is having emergency surgery to remove his eye. Thankfully, Miles is 400g, eating well and having amazing spirits. Though this means he is at high risk for anaesthic and surgery. But this risk outweighs the amount of pain he currently is in. His eye has ruptured, causing an infection and the eye to protrude put. This can ultimately cause death if left untreated. The other option discussed was to sadly euthanise little Miles.
