**Edit - we have been informed that some other breeders out there feel offended by this post, it is not our intention to offend but point out the difference between us and others who choose to breed bearded dragons. We are not saying we are the only decent breeder out there as there are many, but for every good and committed breeder there would be 10 doing it for the wrong reason and not treating their babies as they should and the newbies to our hobbies get shafted if they don’t know what to look for.

**Why should you adopt your new baby beardy from us you may ask?

Our dragons are raised under the strictest conditions in Australia! Our dragons are housed individually from around 3 weeks of age with heat and T5 UVBs each.

Why do we seperate our beardies? After 3 weeks our babies are building their personality and competitive behaviour, this is the time they begin to want to be alone and may fight and remove the tail or limbs of clutch mates.

Food, we breed every bug that goes into our babies mouths which includes crickets and roaches so we know exactly what they are eating, We do buy in our greens! Our dragons are not limited in how much they can eat at this stage as it’s the most important growing period of their lives. Feeding many babies is very expensive and many breeders will limit food or feed their babies cheap unhealthy alternatives such as mealworms or only vegies to save money. This is not good for the beardies as they will grow with stressed and weakened immune systems.

We are so confident about the health of our dragons that we offer a 3 month health guarantee as long as you house your beardy correctly and your husbandry is right!

Descriptions & genetics. We don’t edit pictures to enhance the look of our photos to deceive, no filters, nothing. We know and actually understand the exact genetics of all our dragons and babies, we will not deceive on colours and genetics with fancy descriptions just to charge more, we call it as it is and accurately display our genetics.

We’ve spent countless hours building a website to help everyone from the complete novice up to experienced breeders! You don’t need to waste your time on the countless facebook groups out there spreading either misinformation of providing info that’s confusing or hard to understand.

The health and quality of our dragons is second to none. All too often we’ve spent many hours advising potential customers on what they need to do and what they need to know. Occasionally these people will find a dragon elsewhere for whatever reason which is ok as long as they do their homework on the breeder. Unfortunately many of these lost opportunities come back to us for advice because their breeder or pet shop either won’t advise them or doesn’t know enough to help if or when their baby gets sick. Unfortunately because we are very busy we have to prioritise our time to our customers in these instances. Heart breaking but a hard lesson for some.

We do not breed for a quick $$$, we breed for the love of it, if you know any other breeder who does as much as we do we’d love to hear about them because those are our kind of people. If you want to breed, spend the money, do it right and do it for the right reasons….

With the above in mind please do your homework before adopting a beardy, we feel that we’ve done the hard work for you already so you can enjoy and not stress in your journey with a new baby bearded dragon.
