One of my favourite things about being a vet is my hilarious clients and the expression of their joy and love for animals in all different manners:
- hilarious tee shirts
- funny pet costumes
- unique pet names
- unbelievable stories of how things happened (a lot has to be seen to be believed!🤣)
It may seem like simply a funny tee, but to myself and many other vets, it can provide a shared human connection and chuckle that is sometimes just what the doctor needed. 💕

It was amazing to see the loggerhead sea turtle, Caretta Caretta, they are majestic.
With a length up to 1.5 m and a weight of approx 130kgs, they are gentle creatures. They can live up to 60 yrs but like a lot of marine species their numbers are dwindling unfortunately.

I don’t know how you parents get any family photos, it’s like wrangling rats! 😂 Best of a bad bunch trying to get a family photo before we head off to Greece. Not a single one of us looking at camera, and no cat to be seen!🙄
They’ve forgotten about me already, out on adventures with nurse and trainer Caitlin 🐶💕

So I wanted to share this moment that brought a pep to my step and reinforced my faith in humanity!🥰 Walking in the city I was stopped by a schoolgirl who gave me a lovely compliment and this little note. It is a great lesson to how a seemingly small and insignificant interaction with another person can really impact someone’s day and have a snowball effect of positivity. Well done for shaping your young wards. 💕

Aren’t I a lucky girl to get roses from hubby 😍 Thankfully he knows which flowers to get wifey as a cat lover! Some flowers, like lilies, go straight over to the neighbour without even making it through the front door! Obviously this neighbour doesn’t have cats!🤣

If you're looking to get flowers for a cat lover, there are several options that are safe and cat-friendly:

Catnip (Nepeta cataria): This fragrant herb is beloved by many cats and can be a fun and interactive gift. You can buy catnip plants or dried catnip, or even make your own catnip toys.

Spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum): Spider plants are non-toxic and can be a great addition to any cat-friendly home. Many cats enjoy playing with the long, thin leaves and it's a great way to bring some greenery indoors.
