So breeding season has started early!
Ringnecks have started laying and we have 4 beautiful crimson bellied conures hatched so far.
Will be a few weeks till we start handraising them.

🐦BREEDING SEASON & WEBSITE UPDATE🐦

Hi everyone!
Breeding season is just around the corner. This year we are hoping to have some new birds and different colours.
We hope to have Kakarikis, Cockatiels, Green Cheek Conures, Crimson Bellied Conures, Sun Conures, Indian Ringnecks and if we are lucky some Eclectus, and some Blue & Gold Macaws.

If your looking to get a feathered companion this year, be sure to register interest early as colours/genders will be limited.

I have also been working on a website! It is in the pages "About" section. Its still a work in progress but it does already have some helpful information on diet, dangers and behavior.

We are currently in the process of changing up how things work here at Flock Life.
There are quite a few well known natural bird toy businesses out there already, and we think its best if we focus on other aspects.
We will continue to provide you with toys, however our main focus will be on our handraised birds and merchandise for you!

If there are certain things you would like, let me know and I can see if I can stock it.
Anything from keychains, mugs, shirts, cushions and many more.

The shop listed on this page has been updated to reflect the change. Items are being added slowly as I find suppliers.

🦜BUSINESS UPDATE🦜

Here at FlockLife we have been discussing our goals for the future.
We have our toys, and handraised birds, and soon we will have dehydrated food, avian teas and keyrings for the humans.
We want to help in any way we can when it comes to the wellbeing of our feathered companions.

Our goal for the future is our own freeze dried/cold pressed pellets that will be extremely nutritional.
At the moment the main healthiest pellet available is TOPS. Cold pressed pellets hold the nutritional value unlike all other heat processed pellets.

This is obviously some time away, as the start up cost for this is quite large for our small business. Also hence why our dehydrated foods and teas haven't gone up for sale just yet.

In the meantime though, if you'd like to help our cause and help us on our journey to educate and supply everyone with the right avian nutrition information and products, please share this post amongst your friends, family and bird communities.

Here at FlockLife we have been venturing into different products we can look at selling. We are going to be selling dehydrated fruits and veggies as this is a great way to give your birds a nice crunchy/dry treat that is still healthy for them.

Not only this, we will be doing avian tea blends. Starting with our blend to help birds that have inflammation.

Hi everyone!
So a little backstory first.
I have a 2 year old cockatiel who has a buldging eye, which the vets are even confused about, without getting a CT Scan.
So he has been on antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds and had laser therapy. The laser therapy seemed to work, but isn't really viable as a Long term solution.
So, I have delved into the research of avian teas.
This particular tea blend is for inflammation. I made this blend myself with all of the research I've done combined as to what is bird safe and anti inflammatory.
I will be taking a photo of him as he is now, and how he progresses through the trial.
I thought I would educate people a little about avian teas, as they aren't as known about in the bird community.
