At the Tullamarine Animal Hospital, we have Idexx in house blood machines. This helps our Vets determine what could be wrong with your unwell pet, with most results back within an hour.

We can also run Pre-Anaesthetic blood panels before your pet goes under for surgery. An important step for pets of all age.

In pets over the age of 6yrs old, a yearly blood test is recommended to keep track of any aging changes before they become serious.

Do you have a floppy-eared dog? Special care must be taken after baths and swimming as bacteria and moisture can accumulate within the ears and cause infection. Carefully drying their ears and checking them regularly will help reduce ear problems.
