With Penny’s impending desexing this Friday, we’ve been doing a bit of reminiscing.

What a journey we’ve been on with this precious girl. Shes given us three beautiful litters and has been an amazing mum.

It’s time for Penny to get back to all the things she loves especially as the weather gets warmer. 🏄‍♂️

It’s the end of an era for now but we look forward to Penny’s daughter and grand daughters having their turn to be mums.

Pentuckylou Mini, a gorgeous raven boy who has a wonderful temperament and a happy disposition.

He 12 weeks old and still waiting for the right family to come along. Mini is crate trained and has basic obedience down pat!

Mini would do well with or without another dog in the family. Ideally we’d love Minis family to reside in Victoria.

Mini is the last of Pennys puppies before she retires. We know there’s a family out there that’s right for Mini.

Mini is currently living with our five adult dogs and has fitted in with every day life here at Pentuckylou HQ. Mini is ready to find a home of his own.

His training is going well he’s really smart and loving learning new things. He has a grasp on all basic obediencence.

Mini’s tempremant is what I would call middle of the road, he’s happy to chill and also happy to be outside playing or training.

He’s crate trained and 95% toilet trained. He’s very human focused so would do well with or without another dog in the family.

While Mini is waiting for his forever family to come along, our shiny little black boy is full of life and thriving on his training sessions.
We have been working on waiting to exit his crate, sit and wait for meals, come, drop, stay, loose lead walking and more.
I work hard to give our pups the best head start that I can, Minimoke I’ve loved spending this time with you.

Pentuckylou Jack Rabbit “Hugo” has sired 7 gorgeous little Cobberdogs, we’re looking forward to watching them grow.

Very happy and proud Mumma (Sayla). Sayla and pups seem to have worked themselves out. A lot less squeals and squeaks. Feeding time is pretty silent and then sleep and repeat.

Cobberdogs catch onto things really quickly and this lot are amazing.

And that’s a wrap on puppies for 2024. 💜 Pentuckylou Mini “Teddy” is our last Penny x Walter puppy. He heads off to his new home tomorrow. We know he’s going to a great home and will have a wonderful life.

Meet Mini, Mini is currently waiting for his perfect home. Mini is the goodest boy and so so clever! Mini is crate trained and very close to being toilet trained. Mini has basic obedience and loves to be around people and is currently living in a five dog house hold so very used to other dogs. Mini is 11 weeks old so all the early puppy days are behind him. Mini’s parents are SH Moonlit Penny and SH Walter Jnr owned by Daley connections. Penny is in retirement now this this little guy will be the last Penny and Wal puppy. These parents have amazing temperaments and all the puppies have followed suit. If you think you could be Minis perfect family send us a DM for more information.

We give all the pups a bit of alone time now that they are a little older. We like to get them prepared for their new homes so time away from their siblings is so important. Tiger Lily is available to the right home. 💜

Pentuckylou Australian Cobberdogs

My name is Barb and I live with my partner Sue in a dog loving family in Victoria and we are heading into the breeding world of Australian Cobberdogs. How did we come to this decision?

After being involved with the Delta society and having three accredited therapy dogs over the years and now moving into the world of Pet Education for our younger generation we embarked on finding the perfect dog to suit our needs moving forward. On our search we found Australian Cobberdogs, knowing and seeing first hand the benefits of dogs assisting people in so many ways such as therapy, service, assistance and support we knew that the Cobberdog was the right choice for us.

We searched for a while and came across Spring Hills Australian Cobberdogs and after some extensive research and speaking with Renae from Spring Hills we decided to go into the world of breeding these beautiful dogs. Together with Spring Hills Cobberdogs and other Australian Cobberdogs breeders we are committed to helping develop the breed. Our aim is to breed good, sound, quality dogs that are health and dna tested with a focus to our pups going to service, therapy, support and assistance dog homes as well as suitable pet homes. Our pups will come with health guarantee and a lifetime support from us.

Our foundation puppy will be with us later this year in 2020 and her first undertaking will be to become a part of our family then training to be a pet education dog.
