And another small stunning Warmblood mare just happened to land in my lap🤦‍♀️. Couldn’t resist the opportunity I was given to breed with Bridget, super quality 15-2hh Warmblood mare by Braveaux out of a Royal Hit mare, I’m sure she will produce some lovely Warmblood x Connemara foals. Thankyou so much Belinda Sibley for allowing Bridget to come and join my girl herd at Capall Park Connemara’s to breed with some handsome Irish Connemara lads via frozen semen. Exciting times ahead for my future collection of Capall Park CW line Sporthorses.

Very excited 2 year old Connemara filly, Greenlich Miracle, will join Capall Park Connemara Ponies as a future broodmare in a couple of weeks. Mira was bred by frozen semen UK stallion, Gentle Cascade out of Greenlich Guinevere. Her dam line goes back to the beautiful mare imported into Australia in the late 1970’s, Coosheen Laura, a mare I greatly admired and drooled over in my younger years & who was very successful in both led & ridden breed and open showing as well as eventing with the Jackson’s. Many thanks to Mel Bouwman for the opportunity to purchase such a lovely filly.

Welcome to Capall Park Connemara Ponies, “Celtic Mary O’Hara”, (Celtic De Derum x Binnowie Katie Clare) 14 yr old Connemara mare. She’s a good 14-2hh & 14-2 wide. This one is destined to be my riding pony and get me back in the saddle after a 6 year hiatus. Hoping for many happy trails with Mary. 🏇🏇🏇

Such a loss to the breed, the legendary Silver Shadow, A Grade International 1.30mt Showjumping stallion who produced many 1.30mt International showjumping progeny with great type. He was proof you could have breed type and perform too. Very lucky to have his son, Bunowen Paddy frozen semen here in Australia and used in my stud Capall Park Connemara Ponies. RIP Silver Shadow.

4 years ago today Canal Lucy finally arriving at my place after her long journey from Ireland to Australia. The culmination of a 45 year long dream of importing a pony from Ireland. Grateful to the late Padraic Hynes for allowing me to purchase my Lucy. She has given me two foals to date, Capall Park Johnnie Boy(iiu)(by Manor. Duke) & Capall Park Laura(by Innellan Condor UK) & is expecting a colt in January (by Gentle Cascade UK) 💚☘️

Cormac arrived at our new property today with his best bud, Biscut. He’s been a very lucky boy to have spent the past 6 months away at Deb Harding’s growing, playing and just being boys with Deb’s colt, Keysla Blue Moon Rising aka Biscut. Thanks very much to Deb 🙏🙏. Tomorrow he gets to be a boy minus 2 stones 🥜

Great memory from 4 years ago today. My Canal Lucy with Johnnie Boy cooking in the oven, being loaded into an air stall at Brussels airport for the final leg of her journey from Ireland to Australia. Possibly the most anxious & exciting 36 hours of my life.

Looking forward to welcoming the beautiful Rosie to the Capall Park girl band when we move to our new address. Rosie is a 15-1hh, 6 yr old Warmblood mare with Daktylus, Valuta & Grannus in her back pedigree. She should produce some real quality Connemara x Warmblood foals in the future. Many thanks to Lea Sannen for entrusting me with your lovely girl ❤️
