Christmas night, snoring silent night.
Hope everyone had a wonderful day.
My son dropped in again this evening to borrow $20 for petrol.
I think Truffle the brown brindle Frenchie girl, was a large dog in a past life. She loves Koda. As soon as Koda arrives Truffle is right there next to her wanting to play.
I had another Kelpie named Doug pop in this morning, as his paw-parent won the Christmas prize and I asked them to bring their Kelpie X Labrador over so as I could meet him.
When they arrived I took Truffle out on her harness and lead to meet & greet in the open area, and straight up she was playing with him and showing him she is the boss girl in the front yard.
They all came in, then Roger and Bardot meet Doug between the baby gates before I opened it, and it was like a brother from another Mother with all of them.
Roger just did his own thing, but the two frenchies loved Doug. Roger just mainly sleeps now being 18 years old.
Kelpies are such an easy going dog, and Doug knew exactly, to be gentle around Bardot like he knew she struggles with walking, but he played along with Truffle as Truffle was following him around. Koda turned up, this morning also and the three of them were having a ball outside, with the watchful eyes of all of us.
In my family we've had, a Whippet, Kelpies, Jack Russells even had a Doberman for a while which I had found chained up in someone's backyard and people weren't around for days, so I took her. We ended up finding her a perfect home with someone who had a Doberman.
Here's a short video of this evening.
There was no chance I was going to be able to take the ball out of their mouths.
The other day my son brought round Koda his Kelpie. She's such a good girl and so sweet. She was gentle with Bardot and Truffle.
