Undoubtedly Bahama Bay has developed an affinity with Moe, making it 3 from 3 wins at the track. Currently holding a 50% winning strike rate from 6 runs under our care.

Apprentice Zoe Waller, lead all the way to narrowly be on the winning side of a photo finish.

Fantastic to get another winner for Ken King Thoroughbreds, who have shown to be great, loyal supporters of the stable. Congratulations Connections.

Today at Morphettville Racecourse TOP CALIBRE continues his dream start to racing. Making it 3 wins from 3 starts.

Ridden perfectly by Todd Pannell, Randy was able to sit outside the leader before taking over in the straight winning comfortably by 2 lengths.

A fantastic result for AGR’s new partnership with Blueblood Thoroughbreds. We look forward to our shared future success and many more wins together. Congratulations connections!

❤️A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!

You can buy a share today in an unbeaten, son of Written Tycoon - a half brother to Artorius and race tomorrow at Morphettville in a field of 5, starting $1.85.

TOP CALIBRE is destined for much bigger things than this $60k race and should provide an easy watch for connections tomorrow.

He is an excitement machine who won by a space on debut then came from last to score at start no.2 at Morphettville.

Although we're content to race him ourselves, if you're keen to be involved and consider yourself a "lucky owner" we're happy share the journey with you.

Purchased by Coolmore as a $1.4m c**t, he needed to be gelded and as a result was moved on as they are only interested in stallion prospects.

We subsequently bought him from Coolmore and though he was still an expensive acquisition (a half brother to Artorius, closely related to Delectation and Southport Tycoon was never going to be cheap) we are very confident he will pay himself off very quickly.

He's trained at Cranbourne in Vic by Alex Rae and it's just coincidence we're running again in Adelaide. He was accepted to race at Moonee Valley tonight but drew poorly and this is a far easier assignment.

Whilst Flemington had the nation stopped in their tracks at 3 pm. Tinamou had The Lofty Thorougbred Group, Three Star Racing and AGR Racing halted at 12:15 pm. “Tina” successfully broke through and secured her maiden win at Bairnsdale. With apprentice Dakotah Keane aboard in the saddle for the much anticipated win at Tinamou’s fourth career start.

Top Calibre continued his winning ways today at Morphettville Racecourse.

Guided by Todd Pannell, he settled further back than anticipated today. However proved too strong over the concluding stages. Finishing strongly over the top of the field. “Randy” continued his dream start winning his second race in as many starts.

Top Calibre, a name that only seems fitting with a dominant performance at Bairnsdale on debut. Kicking off his racing career in style, saluting by 4.75 L as Jake Noonan sat up for the photo with the comfortable margin.

Previously from Sydney, Paul Lofitis selected Top Calibre on Inglis Digital. With a promising trial win against “Randy’s” name, it gave Paul the confidence he will be a competitive type for his stable. A dream start!

We look forward to taking Randy through his grades in The Lofty Group silks for the Team.

LOFTY ARCH DELIVERS ON DEBUT

The promising son of Snitzel, Lofty Arch reflected ambitions and expectations on debut at Southside Cranbourne. Ethan Brown guided Lofty Arch into a front running, winning ride amongst a competitive field. Our congratulations and appreciation is directed to The Lofty Group. For Paul’s support of the stable and unlocking an exciting prospect to represent his colours and name.

A wonderful incentive from Inglis with the Inglis Xtra Bonus. Which boosted his prizemoney by $100,000 on top of his winnings for first place.

A Sentimental Saturday!

The team were honoured to be recognised for our best season to date at the Southside Racing Awards night. Humbly accepting the trophy for most winners 101-200 professional starters for the 2023/24 season. Alex Rae Racing tallied a total of 24 Winners (5 Metropolitan winners) from 127 runners. Competing at a 18% winning strike rate, with a 45% place strike rate.

We would like to wholeheartedly thank the Melbourne Racing Club for their hospitality in the Caulfield Committee Room on Saturday. As well as their thoughtful gesture of naming race 3 after our beloved Mum, Catherine Rae. Who we sadly lost too soon in May this year. Mum had devoted numerous years to the MRC, prior to dedicating everyday to AGR Racing.

As the season of 2023/2024 flies past the winning post. We’re proud to recognise this season as AGR Racing’s best season to date.

A total of 24 Winners (5 Metropolitan winners) from 127 runners. Competing at a 18% winning strike rate, with a 45% place strike rate. Showing great consistency all round.

Consistent results can’t be achieved without a great group of loyal owners and a network of hard working, dedicated staff.

As we head into the 2024/2025 racing season, AGR Racing is continuing to strive for the best results and ownership experiences. We’re thrilled for the stable’s continual growth and quality on offer. With great new opportunities from our loyal and new owners. We will expand with over a dozen of new yearling prospects for the coming season. Thank you to everyone for their continual support.
