Today we welcomed Pep the Moyen Poodle cross Irish Terrier! This guy was well named as he certainly does have a pep in his step, he ran straight into the group to join a game of chasey and fetch! 🎉 Pep was keen to make friends today but particularly clicked with Pepper the spoodle, and the two could be found running around and wrestling all through the morning. 😁 Outside Pep enjoyed the sandpits and sunshine, and at nap time he settled down for a rest or patiently waited for a friend to wake up to play with him. 🥺 We’ve enjoyed your high spirits and big smiles: you’re welcome back anytime! 💖

We’re so excited to welcome this sweet, social, and super enthusiastic 1-year-old Toy Poodle to our daycare family! From the moment she arrived, Erza was full of curiosity and ready to make new friends. 🐩💕 Her first favourite pastimes were group fetch and munching on the chew toys (especially the RED turkey 🦃). At quiet time she made besties with Mabel, with plenty of play bows and friendly wrestling – they were the perfect match! 💖 Erza is smart, polite, and has definitely made the most of all our play equipment today! Great job cutie pie, we can’t wait to see more of your joyful personality shine through each day! ✨

🐾 Say hello to Norman! 🐾
This sweet Corgi boy has joined our daycare family today, and we’re so happy to have him! 🐶 While he was a little nervous at first (understandably, since it’s his first time to a new daycare), he quickly settled in and found his comfort zone in the outdoor area. Norman absolutely loved the splash pad, having a blast playing chasey with the other small dogs, zooming around, before it was time for another dip in the water! 🏃‍♂️💨 Norman was also a big fan of treats, balls, and during quiet time, he soaked up all the pats and cuddles he could get. 💕 We’re so excited to see his confidence grow and can’t wait for more playtime with him!

Please give a big welcome to Lenny the energetic and charming dachshund cross! Lenny was confident when he joined the group and almost immediately found play partners in fellow puppies Raphael and Wally, whom he loved wrestling with one-on-one! 💪 Not one to miss out on the action, Lenny participated in the snuffle mats, a game of fetch, did some zoomies outside, dug in the sandpit and gave the pool a tentative try! 🏖️🥎 When it was time to go home Lenny was still in the middle of playing with one of his new besties, so we’re sure he’ll be keen to come back and be reunited. 🥰 Thank you for joining us today, we’re thrilled to have another pocket rocket join the family 💗

Our second new dog today is this handsome fellow, Apollo the border collie! Although Apollo started out a little shy around staff, he immediately jumped into play the second he was in the pen! He greeted Khya the Labrador cross with big play bows and a wagging tail, and the two had a blast playing chasey together 🥰. Apollo also made a good friend in Hazel the Golden Retriever, who he loved to bounce around and wrestle with. We haven’t yet seen Apollo have a go at the pool or the toys, although he did watch the other dogs play scent-games curiously. Thank you for joining us today, we are really looking forward to watching you blossom 🌸 💗

Our first new friend for today was Archie the cavoodle, who has been nothing but polite, sweet and an absolute pleasure! Archie showed us his excellent doggy manners when greeting the other dogs and joined in for a few games of fetch with them! 🎾 He also explored the tunnel, tried out the shuffle mat and really loved getting pets and attention from staff. 💟 Once outside, Archie showed some keen interest in the pool, but wasn’t quite confident enough to jump in just yet. We’re looking forward to your next visit, Archie, we just know you’re a perfect addition to our little family 🐕💞

Our second new friend today was Arlo, the lovely bordoodle ❤️ It didn’t take Arlo long to settle in today and he made sure to join in with almost every round of fetch we had! Arlo spoiled us with kisses, joined in with treat hunting and challenged staff to a game of tug 🐾. Once outside we quickly learned he loves the water, as he immediately went to have a nice long soak in the pool! 🌊⛱️ He then made friends with Stevie the cavoodle and the two wrestled before it was time to nap, and Arlo very quickly found himself sound asleep. We’re very proud and impressed with you, Arlo, and are keen to see you again soon! 💞

Today we’ve been privileged to meet two new dogs, beginning with Wilson the miniature Dachshund! Starting early in the morning, Wilson was ready to make friends straight away! He quickly be-friended Reggie with whom he’s wrestled most of the morning 🥰 He’s been an enthusiastic participant in most activities, including fetch, scent games and chasey with the other dogs, and snuggled up on the couch for a big slumber as soon as nap time started 🧸 For a little pup he has a big personality, and it’s hard to believe it’s his first day with how well he fit in! We look forward to watching you grow, little guy, welcome to the family 💗

🐾 Say hello to Obie! 🐾We were so happy to welcome this sweet Portuguese Water Dog to our daycare family! Obie was a little shy at first, but once he got outside, he really started to open up and enjoy himself. His LOVE for water very was clear – often seen paddling and splashing around in the pools! 💦 The other pups enjoyed his gentle nature and calm company, and although he hasn’t made a best bud yet, we’re sure it’s only a matter of time! 🐶💙 After a big nap at quiet time, he was ready to get wet again, this time loving the splash pad! Great job lovely boy, we can’t wait to see more of your playful water adventures next time! 🌊

🐾 Meet our newest daycare buddy, Elwood! This fluffy boy is as cute as they come and already settling in well! 🐶 Though he was a bit tentative for his first day, he quickly warmed up once those treat toys came out, and had a blast joining in with group fetch. 🏃‍♂️🎾 He enjoyed the company of other oodles, and after a morning of zoomies and snuffles around the sandpit, he was ready to settle down with a chew toy for some quiet time. 💤 He was big on cuddles and pats, and absolutely LOVED chomping at bubble this afternoon. We’re so happy to have you, Elwood, and can’t wait for more adventures next time! 🌟

Our first new dog of the day is Olive the stunning Kelpie who immediately fit right in! Coming in with confidence, Olive very quickly found balls to chase, ropes to tug, and a friend in Rafael the staffs cross to wrestle with! Outside she dipped her paws in the pool, joined in with zoomies, and showed us how politely she can sit for treats! You’ve been an absolute pleasure to have today, Olive, and we hope we get to see more of you soon!

We were lucky to start off the week by introducing the sweet and handsome dachshund Ollie, joining us from our friends over at Hounds of the Hood. Ollie was a little shy to start, but loved getting treats, cuddles and attention from staff 💗 He quickly found a friend in Reggie the Cavoodle and the two wrestled on and off all morning. Like a daycare expert, he settled almost immediately at quiet time, curling up under the fan and occasionally asking for a well-deserved belly rub 🧸 It was a pleasure having you join us today, Ollie, and we look forward to seeing the many more friends you’ll make next time 🐾

We’re so excited to welcome this gentle little lady to our Barks and Rec family! Maxi is a sweet 1-year-old Maltese Shih Tzu who didn’t take long at all to settle in and start enjoying her first EVER daycare visit. 💕 She loved quiet time, choosing to sit next to our staff on chairs (getting those extra pats and cuddles 🥰), but when it was time to play, she was all about enjoying the splash pad. She liked frolicking in the water, and doing her own thing, all while soaking in the excitement around her! We’re so happy to have Maxi join us, and we can’t wait to see more of her sweet personality shine through! 🌟

Please join us in welcoming the lovely Harper, our newest Greyhound! She was a little shy on her first day (totally understandable), but she quickly found her cozy spot on the daybeds and began to relax while watching her new friends. 🌟 Harper absolutely loved the sandpit, where she made her own little “outside” bed, and she felt right at home exploring and sniffing around in the fresh air. 🌿 She’s been nothing but sweet with all her new pup pals, big and small. 🐶
We can’t wait to watch Harper blossom in the coming visits and see her confidence grow! Welcome to the family, Harper! 💖

🎉 Welcoming our newest daycare pup, Wally! 🐾 This mixed breed cutie is already stealing hearts with his sweet, cuddly nature. 💖 Despite being young, Wally listened so well and was already a pro at balancing playtime with some well-deserved rest. He made fast friends with Raphael and the two were inseparable today, playing and having the best time! Wally also enjoyed the treat toys and rip rips (who doesn’t?!), and was super chill at quiet time, recharging for more fun this afternoon. We can’t wait to see all the fun and snuggles he’ll bring to our daycare family! 🐶💕
