MERRY CHRISTMAS ft. PABLO and MILLA ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ„โœจ

Our whole team of vets, nurses and receptionists wish to thank you for your support in 2024.

Every time you visit our clinic you directly help our shelter animals by funding their much needed vet work. Along with helping our animals you also help us. The love we get from our patients make the hardest days a little lighter. Weโ€™re a special team in that our ultimate goal is to serve the community. Education, affordable desexing and quality vet care are at the fore front of our mission and this wouldnโ€™t be possible without you.

Our team would also like to hold close our clients who are missing a set or two of paws this Christmas time.

Have a happy and safe New Year & weโ€™ll see you in 2025 ๐Ÿ’™

โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน Sensitive medical case โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Lulu and Baby Doll were in foster care with one of our amazing carers when they started to become unwell, showing signs of diarrhoea and lethargy. Their carer brought them straight to the clinic for a health check, and upon arrival, they were admitted with a suspected toxoplasmosis infection.

Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease that can spread to humans and potentially cause seizures and, if pregnant, birth defects.

โ€œToxoโ€ can cause a range of symptoms in cats including lethargy, loss of appetite, and in severe cases coma. Lulu and Baby Doll were deteriorating rapidly and needed a nurse to hold their heads up for treatment. Thankfully, they were surrounded by our amazing team, but they needed to be strong to pull through.

Toxoplasmosis can spread to kittens through their mother during pregnancy or through exposure to infected f***s.

Iโ€™m pleased to say that they have responded well to treatment, and when theyโ€™re old enough theyโ€™ll be looking for their forever family through

A big shoutout to all of our dog, cat, guinea pig, and bunny foster carers! ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ‡

๐Ÿ–ค Meet TILLY.

Tillyโ€™s owner noticed her urine had developed an odour and that she was visiting her tray more frequently. Thankfully they didnโ€™t wait to book a consultation and brought Tilly in along with a urine sample for our nurses to run in-house.

Tilly has been diagnosed with a UTI and after a course of pain relief and antibiotics she will feel back to normal.

๐Ÿงป Please contact us if you notice any changes in your pets toileting and we will advise you accordingly as these can be life threatening if left untreated
