Our most recent "tanks in schools" installation, this time at the Yalukit William Nature Association at Elsternwick Park, Melbourne. Supplied and installed for Native Fish Australia, this one funded by Melbourne Water. This aquarium displays Southern Pygmy Perch, a species that will, in time, be introduced onto some of the ponds being restored in the park - see second photo. Photos by Natalie Davey

This beautiful pond, in one of two open air internal atriums in the new Bendigo Gov Hub, is a project we finished earlier this year. Designed by Glasurban, the feature granit "Flow Rock" weighs 4200kg and site on a plinth in the centre of the pond. Water is pump up to the rock which gently cascades back into the pond. Approximately 1 third of the surface area of the pond is a reed bed. A huge thanks to ICON/Fairbrother joint venture and Seth Martin.

Looking down at a sump we built for a Reef Aquarium 4 years ago. I have just added a UV steriliser. This remote filtration plant is located outside, in a special 'pit' covered by a lid lifted by an electric ram.

A "kebab" style water feature in a pond we renovated in Northcote recently. The previous version of this water feature had been built around a gal pipe 18 years ago, and as the pipe rusted and swelled the stones were split. The version we built uses 316 stainless steel pipe.

Yesterday we delivered a crisp new insect unit, consisting of 6 enclosures stacked 3 on 3, to Melbourne Museum. Each enclosure measures 700mm x 700mm x 700mm.

We installed a robust filtration plant on a beautiful little (5,000 lt) Paul Bangay designed pond on Tuesday. Custom profiler sponge canisters, large biofilter and variable speed pumps.

This pond renovation in Kew is finished. New fountain and low voltage pump, new lights, new fish, new turf (another contractor) and the result is fabulous

Over the last week we have been restoring this beautiful pond in Kew. The old fountain was so rusted it was falling apart (literally). This is the new fountain we supplied and installed, seen running.

Lifting a stunning brass fountain out of a pond in Doncaster this morning for renovations and a filtration upgrade.

Finally finished that green wall and horizontal water feature renovation in Strathmore

Today I noticed this little Coral Crab on this green Montipora, working diligently to keep it free of algae.

I did a 60% water change on my Driftwood Catfish holding aquarium and it stimulated this breeding behaviour.

This is a 1000lt Reef Aquarium that has been going for about 5 years. Strong lighting (3x250w), Kalk Water dosing, Skimz Calcium reactor and Skimz skimmer. Lots of pink Calcious algae! and the corals are growing well too!
