Our old lady Dryland Mantis (Coenomantis kraussiana), she has laid around 6 ooths but is sadly starting to slow down.

We added some colour to our Monteiths leaf insect (Walaphyllium monteithi) enclosures and with some time and patience have started to get some nicely coloured individuals!

Goliath stick insect (Eurycnema goliath) are always a favourite. They are not only fairly large but also extremely colourful!

Dog eared stick insect (Hyrtacus tuberculatus) a small, ground living species from the arid regions. Love the “racing fins” on these guys. Ours have just started to lay eggs which they stick to vegetation.

Spined Mantis (Archimantis quinquelobata) a scientific name I continuously spell incorrectly and will probably continue to spell incorrectly. It is probably spelt four different ways in the bug room.

This is Nibbles the Monteith leaf insect, she got nibbled by a fellow leaf insect that mistook her for a leaf. Although sporting the scar she has moulted twice since then and should live a long, healthy life.
