Today was packaging day! We do everything in-house at our warehouse in Melbourne. From making the product to the bottling and labelling, everything we do is by us and by hand (with the help of some machines ofc 😉).

Hi, we are Dan & Alex. We are proud to be the second generation of family behind the company Start Bio Solutions.

urineFREE is a powerful urine stain & odour remover that will clean and remove all urine odours and stains left by dog, cat, equine, small animals and even household accidents.

Start Bio Solutions was founded by Alex’s parents in the early 2000’s after seeing a lack of cleaning products for the pet industry when they were caring for their very beloved Border Collie whom became incontinent. In 2008, they decided to focus their attention on creating a stronger, more effective (and Australian made) product that offered an all-in-one solution to urine stains and odours that could be used across multiple industries.

Since urineFREE was launched, we have proudly become Australia’s leading urine stain & odour remover with thousands of happy Australian customers.

Whilst competitor pet products offer different labels such as cat, kitten, dog & puppy, we knew urine is… well… urine! There is no difference between animal and human, and we wanted to offer our customers a product they could use in and around the household, and not just for their pet’s mishaps.

Having both been involved in the family business for years, we were so humbled to take the reigns and continue Alex’s parents’ mission of providing Australians with safe, non toxic and affordable cleaning solutions.

As a small family business we pride ourselves on delivering our customers with the best products on the market, but we believe we need to offer more than just that. Through our many years of experience we can offer a range of helpful resources, how to use instructions & videos, and helpful tips & articles.

To complement our range, in 2010 we launched the popular BackyardFRESH to help people with those pesky outdoor smells.

After feeling like we now had all your urine stains and odour problems covered, we started thinking of ways we could help prevent these stains from actually happening in the first place! So in 2016, protectME was founded — a safe, non toxic, eco-friendly fabric protector to stain proof your life!

As a family with 3 young kids (and one still toilet training) and pets (always toilet training), we understand how busy life can be and how you just want cleaning products that work and are safe to use around your loved ones and for the planet.We’ve done that research for you and we are very proud of our products.
