Please help us find Slipper.

The most unthinkable thing has happened. I loaded Slip and Woody in the car to go to the shops around 8 this morning, not realising one of the side windows of my ute canopy wasn’t latched properly. It has popped open whilst driving down our dirt road and he has jumped out. I would have only been going about 30km. I realised about 3 km from home but Slipper is nowhere to be found! We have only had him for about 12 hours so he doesn’t know this is home.

He is a red and tan 2 year old male with a light blue collar on (different from the one pictured). He is super super friendly.

He has gone missing in Gembrook on Ure road but please share far and wide to spread the word. We are going sick with worry

Jimmy is a pure bred Working line German Shepherd around 14 montsh old, he has started solid obedience training where he would be intermediate to advance and we will continue this training for his new owner. He is very social and lives with other dogs currently, Jimmy has enormous potential and we have started his training to provide a new owner with a great start. UWD will also contine to support the new owner in any endeavours with Jimmy, Please forward this post such that we can find the right home for jimmy, Jimmy is for sale and has great further potential, Please share and if there is any interest please private message me

The photos on this page are of Timmy. Timmy came to us via RSPCA in Warnambool after spending 3 months there. They told us he was 12 months old when we picked him up, he was about the right size but after he had been with us a short time he started to grow due extra TLC, exercise, lots of luv. I have believed for a long time that Timmy was older than 12mths and that he just didn't grow while in captivity. He didn't need to and didn't have the exercise and nutrients to maintain a growing body. Looked after by RSPCA... Yes.. but not enough for a growing dog. He is and has been the most amazing dog, buddy, companion to our family. He has helped to calm the most aggressive dogs and put them in their place. he has taught them how to behave, how to stay in control and how to be friends. We have known for some time that Timmy was having trouble walking. He had a funny wiggle in his hind quarters, a sideways gait and stiff legs and hips when he exercised too much. Today Timmy had x-rays to determine what is wrong as his condition was gradually deteriorating. The xrays show that Timmy has a hip malformation. His hip ball and socket are very shallow and it is only the exercise he gets that is helping his movement. He has been in pain and stiff legged for a while and exercise helps alot but too much makes the pain and movement worse. We have started injections to help improve fluid in the joints and glucosamine to assist repair. Heat packs after herding and anti inflammatory tabs as well. He will be on this stuff until his body breaks down too much for life to be fun for him. Surgery is not an option as it creates many other issues for Timmy's well being.
This all sounds like he is dying. He's not thankfully and has a longish happy life ahead of him. We just have to keep looking after him. He is a happy boy and definitely loves to herd sheep, run an agility course, watch thunderstorms in the rain, watching cars zoom past while sitting in the back seat of the car and curling up next to us on the bed (even tries to get in and rest his head on my pillow - never going to be allowed to do that..) Keeping Timmy happy and pain free is the priority. He's our best mate.
