We are thrilled to invite you to our inaugural "Santa Paws" Photoshoot at Heathmont Animal Hospital!
Santa Paws will be landing at the clinic this holiday season to give our clients the opportunity to create wonderful, lasting memories of their beloved pets with Santa, surrounded by festive decor. During this exclusive event we will capture photos of your pet in their festive best with Santa. For a $10 donation to our wildlife fund you will receive a digital copy of the photos AND a special treat from Santa himself (plus you'll be helping us continue to care for the wildlife of South East Melbourne!).
Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds all welcome. Spots are limited so bookings are essential. Call 9729 4466 to book your timeslot for Saturday November 30th and Saturday December 7th, 10am-1pm.
*Please note: festive attire is encouraged. For safety please ensure your pet is on lead or in a carrier. Please limit the number of pets per visit to ensure everyone enjoys ample time with Santa!

It’s that time of year when we are seeing a massive spike in wildlife cases at the clinic each day. To help us continue providing the best care for our patients and wildlife, we need you to call Wildlife Victoria on their emergency hotline (8400 7300) if you find wildlife that is injured or displaced, then take your wildlife to the NEAREST veterinary clinic to where you found the animal. If it is Saturday, Sunday or afterhours, please take wildlife to the closest 24hr emergency vet clinic. A local clinic, whether it be Heathmont or elsewhere, is always the best option, as if the vet deems the animal fit for release it can be immediately released back into it’s territory, rather than being displaced in new territory where it is at risk of attack from the local population or having to be transported back across the city. Thank you for your continued support and helping us do what’s best for both wildlife and pets. Here’s a cute little sugar glider getting some TLC before release!

How amazing is this Australian business - @aboutadog ‘s 100% recycled toilet paper! 50% of profits are donated to animals in need, a charity of your choice. We chose to allocate our donation to ‘Pets of the Homeless’, an amazing organisation we already work closely with.
