Propagation Volunteers at CERES
A volunteer crew brought together by the humble seed. 🌱 Take a look inside propagation at CERES with Lisa and Zanda. Lisa has been volunteering in prop for 7 years – throughout COVID and as a means to do something completely different after retiring. Zanda has been on board volunteering for the past 5 months – on top of this she is currently doing the Complete Urban Farmer course and loving it. CERES wouldn’t be what it is today without our volunteers – we love and value everything they do.
If you want to have this much fun, make connections, be in nature and pursue something different, head to the link in our bio and check out our volunteer positions. 🙋♀️🙋♂️
A trip to CERES will always add some sunshine to your day... even if it's raining. 💘

Plastic-free Plant Labels
If you’re anything like us at CERES, you’ll have some pruned branches lying about in your garden this time of year. 🪵🍃 Of course, you can pop them in the compost or create a teepee for your climbers but we think you should have a crack at making these sustainable plastic-free plant labels. They’re completely free, fun and the perfect addition to any garden.

✅ Queer?
✅ Sick of dating apps?
✅ Plant parent (or aspiring plant parent)?
If you ticked most of the boxes above we’ve got a very special treat for you. That’s right, it’s that time again folks. Weed Dating. Queer weed dating to be specific.
You’ve heard of speed dating - now just add weeding. Come and meet a new friend, lover, or anything in between (or beyond) amongst the plants at @ceresjoesgarden.
Let the sparks fly between the rows of kale – and to sweeten the deal we’re throwing in coffee and snacks for when you need a break from all the weeding (or flirting 😉).
Swipe right on something a little different! Limited spots, so get in quick! Link in bio.
This is an 18+ event open to queer people of all genders.
