“ Director of happiness” is Kenzo’s official title. He plays the starring role in a study on happiness/ well being in the workplace when a therapy dog is present. This particular partnership is with Guided Dogs and Peninsula Health and their medical staff. Yes please to dogs in all workplaces and OMG Kenzos smile just makes you happy. Noise.
I have really noisy neighbours, I struggle with it a bit, it’s not very peaceful . Their noise for today was making gorilla sounds whilst jumping on the trampoline blowing party trumpets for a few hours. So noisy that one of the ringtails in my yard jumped out of his nest and sat in the tree trembling and clearly frightened . This is hours before he is due to get up. Please be mindful of all the beautiful animals sleeping in our trees , especially tomorrow night. 🙏

Seriously can’t believe there are people who still buy caged eggs. I’m a huge advocate for education because if you don’t know you can’t change. If you really want to see if your eggs are truly free range look into it deeper and don’t just assume . If I get eggs I only buy them from my local veggie farm where I can actually SEE the chooks are running free and happy.

Just on dusk ...cheeky Miss bushytail dingo comes trotting past my tent. John Haze waterhole , had it all to myself and a dingo 😍 Big fat ✅

We have stopped to pull a cat and a kangaroo off the road . There was 4 eagles snacking on them before we stopped and a truck would never have been able to stop in time. Large birds are super slow in taking off. Check out the expanse of its wings !! 😲

Coastal Taipan, largest venomous snake in Australian and he looks so friendly and cute 🤫 So lucky to see him so close and active and with a plane of glass between us!

Popped down the beach at lunch today for 20 mins of stillness. This seagull spent the whole time walking up and down on my legs, perching , chipping and just generally hanging out with the stillness . 😍
