Week 3 is all about getting a picture-perfect finish on your dogs head with the added opportunity of working on synthetic model heads to really finesse the face. Our real canine model, Joe Black, is back in town & gave JP the chance to practise the techniques he has learned so far. Although it may appear that JP is about to perform a surgery in our student room, he is, in fact, just preparing himself for a day of splashing water, blown out hair, and sharp nails! Even though the entire kit isn't compulsory, we do recommend certain PPE while grooming or bathing and definitely a mask in the drying room. Pictured here with his adorable model, Buzz, JP spent the morning learning sc******ng techniques for an outline trim under the expertise of our trainer, Joh. It's time to bid farewell to our colleague Le'Rae. Following six and a half years in Melbourne, she has opted to relocate to Queensland to be nearer to her family and grandchildren.
Le'Rae has skillfully trained and mentored numerous students throughout her time at Dooz and Dog Diversity, earning her a valued place among our team and within our hearts. We regret her departure but understand this decision is in the best interest of her loved ones. Thank you Le’Rae, we will miss you.
