We would like to advise our loyal clients that the Glen Iris Vet and Armadale Vet will be closing at 5pm on Christmas Eve (24th Dec) and New Year's Eve (31st Dec).

We’ll be open regular hours on all other days (expect for the public holidays) to care for your furry friends! 🐶🐱 If you need any assistance or appointments before the holidays, please give us a call in advance.

Halloween treats are especially yummy,
But for some it can give them a very sore tummy 🐶
If your doggy eats choccy you’ll get a big scare,
The darker the chocolate, the worse they will fare 🍫
If you find a chocolate wrapper and it’s empty inside,
Take it to a clinic with your dog by your side 🏥
Keep an eye out for hints of chocolate toxicity,
The vomiting and diarrhoea won’t be too pretty! 🤢
Panting or restlessness are also a sign,
Look at their gum colour and take note of the time ⏰
The faster you act, the better it will be,
Whether your pups eaten one treat or three 🍬
If you’re ever unsure always check with your vet,
They have special skills to help out your pet 🧑‍⚕️
