Halloween treats are especially yummy,
But for some it can give them a very sore tummy 🐶
If your doggy eats choccy you’ll get a big scare,
The darker the chocolate, the worse they will fare 🍫
If you find a chocolate wrapper and it’s empty inside,
Take it to a clinic with your dog by your side 🏥
Keep an eye out for hints of chocolate toxicity,
The vomiting and diarrhoea won’t be too pretty! 🤢
Panting or restlessness are also a sign,
Look at their gum colour and take note of the time ⏰
The faster you act, the better it will be,
Whether your pups eaten one treat or three 🍬
If you’re ever unsure always check with your vet,
They have special skills to help out your pet 🧑‍⚕️

When your beloved pet is with us at the clinic, our Vet Nurses are the ones who make sure their bandages are changed, they’re fed and watered, and that they get lots of time spent with extra love and attention so they aren’t lonely during their stay. They treat your pet like family, keeping them calm and comfortable every minute of every day. They watch over your furry companion before, during, and after procedures to make sure everything is running smoothly. They are our SUPER HEROES 🦸.

This week is Veterinary Nurse and Technologist Awareness Week, and this Friday the 11th of October is International Vet Nurse Day. We recognise our amazing Vet Nurses as an integral part of our industry. They are our incredible behind-the-scenes team. We simply couldn’t do what we do without them.
