ADOPTIONS are slowing down 😩

We need everyone looking or considering on looking for a feline companion to join their home ar Adoption Day on Saturday. We have so many cats and kittens looking for their forever home. Eventhough adoptions are slowing down the rate to save lives is not.

WE HAVE HIM!!!
At 10:30 last night Gage was found in the trap 🥹
The utter relief was immense, truly grateful that he was in my arms, purring.
Gage ate like a horse and slept like a champ.
I want to thank everyone for their messages of support and mechanic Peter (who pulled every pieces of the car off as he could and put back every screw) and Andy for climbing under the car searching high and low for Gage. Thank you Lisa Crowe for KFC chicken and a long drive to One at a Time Pet Rescue (thank you) for the snake camera and trap.
This became a rescue mission of determination, worry and hope but it paid off.

Thank you truly to everyone 💕 I am grateful beyond words. Xx

She maybe quiet, she may sit back and observe but this beauty is delicate and sweet. She loves being held and is learning everyday that humans are kind and nothing to be feared. Ombre will scoff her food and that is only because she has learned she doesn’t know when her next meal is coming. Hopefully once she has her own home, Ombre can truly relax.

Meet Pixel!!! He is a gentle soul who approaches you with a purr. He is still a little jumpy after growing up on the streets, the way he scoffs food is a dead giveaway away that he still thinks food is not going to come. Hopefully once Pixel has his own home and a few months of settling he will learn more and more about what it neans to be apart of a family. Pixel has seen dogs but not had close interactions with them while in care. This boy is truly amazing 😻

Last nights catching mum didn’t go to plan. Sadly she escaped the trap and today after feeding the kittens, she has been there all day watching them but not taking the bait. Please keep her in your thoughts. We just need her in the trap.

🚨SCREAMING OUT FOR FOSTER CARERS

Today alone I have had four calls for help.
Springvale- mum and four 4 week olds (MIA)
Clyde- Mum and 2-3 week olds (sorted)
Thomastown- two 12 plus kittens
Coolaroo- Mum and 5-6 8 week olds
Endeavour Hills- x3 14 week old kittens
Endeavour Hills- x1 20 week old
Endeavour Hills- x3 20 week olds

We can’t help unless we have someone for them to go and a commitment to keep them safe until adopted.

Please consider becoming a foster carer. They need us!!!

🚨URGENT FOSTER CARER
Sarafina needs a life line.

She hasn’t coped in her current foster carers home and we have desperately been searching for a new carer with no luck. The current carer has contacted stating she is going to contact council to take her.

This news is devastating and extremely frustrating.

Do you have a spare space for Sarafina?
She is human friendly and will adjust around other cats and cat friendly dogs.

Sarafina also has a rash which we are trying to get under control. The cause is unknown but we are hoping a new environment with less stress will hwlp calm the situation.

Please help us stop Sarafina from ending up in the pound.

🏡ADOPTION UPDATES
Today was a little more quieter than our other Adoption Days which always add worry.
5 beautiful souls still found their homes which we are extremely grateful for.
We hope Turtle, Skipper, Memphies, Snickers and Luna aee settling into their new homes with ease.

Marble was lucky enough to be snapped up for adoption during her desexing surgery.

Everyone who adopts from us please remember their are conditions to your adoption which you signed on the contract. One major clause being our animals are indoor only or indoor with a cat run. Under no circumstances as our cats and kittens allowed to be outdoor pets unsupervised. We have rules to keep our animaks as safe as possible and ensure they live long forever lives. Please remember this as we put our trust in you and pass the batten to keep our babies safe.

🏡ADOPTION SUCCESS and then some 😜 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED TODAY, ADOPTED AND PET O (Best Friends) Pakenham FOR HOSTING!!!! We just had a record number of adoptions with x15 kittens finding their forever homes!!! 🤩 We are so extremely grateful to people willing to support rescue and open their homes to rescue felines in need. Adoption through rescue also supports helping stopping the cycle and helping those who truly need us. With every adoption fee, we are able to take these funds and put towards the next animal needing care and their vet work. Our FurKids Adopted: Little, Maui, Kele, Moana, Tui, Simea (pre adoption), Xylo, Gus, Poppy, Glinda, Elphaba, Cupcake & Pickles, Mittens and Gilligan. Hoping all our babies are settling into their new homes in a laundry, bathroom and bedroom for slow introduction to their new world. We love you all 💕
