Entropion in dogs is a genetic disposition where an inversion (inward turning) of the eye lid/s causes lashes and surrounding hair to rub against the dogs sensitive cornea.
If not remedied quickly, can lead to cornea ulceration.
Common breeds with Entropion are Mastiff, Shar Pei, Chow Chow, Doberman, Bulldog, Golden Retriever, Rottweiler and Poodle.

Originally bred for hunting but also for tracking bloodhounds are very affectionate and can suit families really well if exercised regularly and kept entertained as they can be destructive if they are bored.

Meet Lily, Dr Sams boisterous 3 year old chocolate lab. She was showing off her tricks for some liver treats 🐶 🧡

Master Bailey came in for his vaccination on Friday. He couldn’t contain his excitement from all the attention he was getting 🥰

Kaos’ TPLO Journey❤️ He came in after his owner noticed him struggling to get up and sit down. After taking x rays we diagnosed it as a cruciate ligament rupture. He had TPLO cruciate surgery to help with his condition. This video was taken 4 weeks post op and he is doing so well and has been the bravest boy. You can see all his progress on Absolute_kaos1 Cruciate Ligament Rupture is an all too common injury to the knee in dogs and we now offer this surgical procedure. Photo of Kaos’ x ray posted in the comment.

How cheeky is Dr Sam’s dog Lily!? She’s trying to master the “play dead” trick 🤣

Look at how Sweet little Stormi is doing after she unfortunately had to have her leg amputated. As you can see in the video she is still such a happy little puppy even with 3 legs. We loved seeing the progress she was making after her big surgery💖
