Hi everyone.
I’ve just popped on to announce that I have officially retired from grooming as my role as full time carer of my sister has been far more than I first thought.
I’d like to thank everyone for all their support over the years.
I will be closing down this page in the coming days as I’ve still been receiving requests for grooming services that I’m unable to do.
Again thank you everyone and I wish everyone nothing but the best for the future

Hi Everyone. I haven’t posted a update for awhile as there has been a lot happening with my family.
Sadly near the end of November our father passed away. We have moved house through December and I am now full time carer for my sister.
At this stage I am still not sure if I will be returning to work as there is still a lot of things to be worked out.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for you support and understanding through this time.
I will update again if anything changes.

Hi everyone. Thought I’d better give you a update.
As the the last few weeks have progressed it has become more obvious that my hope of continuing grooming part time from home is not really a option. The level of care my father requires it’s just not possible.
So I will be temporarily closing the doors until such time that I will be able to return to work and offer the services you have all been a custom too.
I would like to thank you all for supporting me over the years and hope you all can understand why I’ve had to do this.
Love and hugs to you all and all your fur babies.
I hope to see you all again in the near future.

Hi everyone.
I’m sorry to announce that I will be cutting back on the service I’ve been able to support you with and will no longer be mobile.
Due to family matters I need to be home based.
I will be able to still groom part time from home.
I do understand that this may not suit all of you and will be in contact over the coming days with details of other groomers that are happy to have extra work.
I would just like to say that it has been a pleasure being able to look after your fur babies and I thank you all for putting your trust in me to do so.
This is not a forever thing but for now it’s just the best thing for my family.

I’d like to wish all my clients a very Merry Christmas and Thank you all for all your support through the difficult year we have all had.
My hope for all is that the New Year brings a calmer life and abundance of everything for everyone.
I will be closed until the 6th January so I look forward to seeing you all next year.

I have some good news finally 😃
Mobile grooming is now allowed to operate in metro Melbourne. Yay!
We are under strict Covid guidelines and welfare grooming must be our first priority.
I will be in contact with everyone over the next couple of days to assess your pets needs and get you booked in. ASAP.

Just a quick update. We still don’t know when grooming can resume under the current lockdown restrictions. I know this is putting a lot of your pets in uncomfortable situations.
The only advise we have been able to get is that if dogs are suffering then you need to contact your Vets as they are the authorised providers at this stage.
There are some of the Corporate/Franchise pet stores offering welfare grooming but please be aware this means the dogs can only be clipped back short as that is regarded as a welfare clip.
Again I know this is frustrating for all and I will try to keep you posted of any changes as to when I can return to work.

Is your dog's fur starting to look a little out of control?

It would come as no surprise, as dog grooming services have been banned from trading since the Melbourne and statewide lockdowns were implemented weeks ago.

Pet owners across the state have been pleading for their dogs to get clipped, as problems can arise from matted fur and other hygiene-related issues.

However, NSW pet owners have had the luxury of getting their pets clipped throughout their extended lockdown.

A petition in August called for pet grooming to become an essential service in Victoria, as "frequent lockdowns are seriously impacting on the health and welfare of pets".

Do you think grooming should be in the first phase of the new reopening plan?

Hi Everyone. I’m sorry to say but it appears that they have taken mobile grooming off the approved provider list. Which means that after being allowed to operate for 3 days they have now closed us down again with this new extension to the lockdown.
I’m really sorry to all those who I have rescheduled from last week.
I’ll be in contact directly if and when anything changes.

I’m starting to feel like a broken record. 😂😂.
As you would all be aware by now, we are back in lockdown.
So unfortunately this means that I’ll be rescheduling the next weeks appointments as soon as I know I can return to work.

Hi everyone. I’ve been waiting on confirmation that mobile grooming is allowed to return to work.
It appears we can with Coid safe practices in place.

As you would be all aware. 7 Day snap lockdown has been announced. So I’ve had to close for this time as Grooming is classed as non essential services.
