Our Vets and Nurses were very lucky to recieve this beautiful gift from Millie's parents.
Millie was a breeding dog for her entire life and was rescued by her now beautiful parents earlier this year to live out her golden years.
She brought with her so much love and many cuddles but also a bunch of medical issues.
Millie is so lucky to have been rescued by her family as they are providing all the medical care she needs to spend her last years healthy and happy.
We love you loads Millie.

Meet Hoomee
Hoomee is a clear favorite among the team. She required a general anaesthetic for some extensive imaging. Performing Anaesthesia on French Bulldogs (or any of the brachcephalic breeds) is quite specialised and of much greater risk than on their long snouted friends.
-Brachycephalic breeds are particularly prone to airway obstruction during the perianesthetic period.
-Due to their peculiar anatomical characteristics, brachycephalic dogs are more prone to developing upper airway respiratory complications in the postoperative period.
-Overall, the major concerns related to anaesthesia of the patient with brachycephalic airway syndrome are the development of airway obstruction (partial or complete) at any time in the anaesthetic period (from preoperative sedation to full recovery) and the predisposition to bradycardia and regurgitation.

Our amazing team of Vets and Nurses are trained for these high- risk procedures and Dr Seung also performs Soft Palate and Nares surgeries to correct Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS)

Speak to our team if you have any concerns with your Brachycephalic dog.

Meanwhile, Hoomee's day went off without a glitch and we have made a full recovery ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵

Please join us in congratulating our most recent Puppy School Graduates.
Angel, Mackenzie, Luna, Scottie, and Millie were amazing in their 4-week puppy school with our nurses Shantelle and Lucia.
These puppies learned where to go to the toilet, how to walk on a lead, how to behave in social situations and so much more.
If you have a puppy aged between 8-16 weeks and would like to join our next class please call our friendly nurses.

Golden Retrievers are kind, trusting, and gentle. These traits make them poor guard dogs but excellent family dogs. They’re also intelligent, eager to please, playful, active, and highly trainable.

A Golden Retriever dog needs plenty of exercise and prefers open spaces for (you guessed it) retrieving. This is why a golden retriever is best suited for a house with a big yard or an owner who will always take them to the off-leash park. If you have small children, a Golden Retriever is a safe choice for a family pet, especially if properly trained.

These cuties recently came in for puppy vaccinations and health checks. The nurses could not help themselves with cuddles.
The Shiba Inu dog is an ancient Japanese companion breed that dates back to at least the 3rd century BC, where they were primarily used for hunting and flushing game. The breed nearly went extinct in the early 20th century but was saved by a group of Japanese breeders who dedicated themselves to preserving them.
The Shiba Inu temperament is characterized by charm, alertness, and fearlessness. Despite their compact size, these pups are brimming with feisty energy. Nevertheless, they are equally content to snuggle on the couch with their humans. They make great pets for individuals who can provide ample attention.

Sylvia spent some time amusing the nurses recently with her many face pulling skills. We love you Sylvia ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜
