Happy Birthday Simone! Thank you for everything that you do for the team, and for all our wonderful patients. We cannot imagine us without you! We got to celebrate with bubble tea today!
Meet another gorgeous Shiba Inu puppy!
He was in for his first vaccination and microchipping. On top of the puppy vaccination course, microchipping is very important. A tiny microchip is quickly and simply inserted under your pet's skin and this gives your pet their own unique code. The microchip can be scanned for the owner's contact details. Have you recently checked your details up-to-date (just in case)?
Noel found the lab and decided to go for a ride in the Centrifuge. He's the most evil, up-to-no-good Elf you can imagine.
See the comments to find out what happened to Noel afterward 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
We all enjoy a reason to celebrate and eat delicious cake! This week we got to celebrate Lucia's birthday.
Happy Birthday Lucia!!
We were lucky to meet two beautiful Standard Poodles, Mumu and Tutu. They're young couple and love playing together. They're very gentle with us and like getting attention. They look pretty much alike, can you tell who's a boy and who's a girl?
Have you just got a new puppy?
Our puppy school is run on Thursday evenings in our hospital and the next class is due to begin on 28st September. There are still spaces available for puppies between 8-16 weeks.
Classes are informative and fun. Make sure your puppy starts life on the best Paw. Your puppy will learn how to socialize, play, behave, toilet, and more. We encourage children to also come along and be a part of this fun process.
Call our friendly nurses to secure your spot in the next class on 9877 3277
Toy poodles, Bichon Frises, and other curly-coated breeds commonly present to the vet for little lumps and bumps on the skin. Getting these lumps checked is always important, and luckily Teemo's owners came in to see Dr. Seung about a little lump on his toe. While some types of tumors and lumps can be diagnosed in-clinic, the best way to get a diagnosis is with a biopsy. In Teemo's case, Dr. Seung did surgery to remove the lump and sent it to the pathologist for investigation. Fortunately for Teemo, the lump was just a benign growth rather than a nasty cancer. However, serious skin cancers, such as melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma, can present exactly the same way. Teemo has happily recovered from this little adventure to the vet, and is more than happy to come back for the extra attention and cuddles from the nurses during his post-op checks.
This evening we got a special display of talent from Mitch! Over the past 3 months Mitch has been recovering from Immune-mediated haemolytic anaemia (IMHA), a life-threatening auto-immune disorder where the body attacks its own red blood cells. With the love, patience, and dedication of his owners, Mitch has gone from barely being able to stand up to back to his old tricks.
Meet Bodgie! Bodgie started his life as a stray and was lovingly adopted by his owner. Bodgie was so skittish and timid when we first met him. Now he is a regular boarding in our cattery and loves getting attention from the nurses. We are so happy to see him settle into his new life.
Today we wished Prue a wonderful birthday. We hope you had a fabulous day and we thank you for all the wonderful things you do for us and all our patients for many many years!
