As many pet owners may now be aware there has been an ongoing shortage of cat vaccinations, both in Australia and globally. At nOah we understand how important it is to our clients and to pet owners that their cats are up to date with their yearly health check and also able to go into boarding if required! Fortunately we were able to prepare for this shortage and have vaccinations still available! If your cat is in need of a vaccination please call us on (03) 9482 1913 and speak with one of our lovely reception staff about booking in or book online through our website: www.northcotevet.com.au
Unfortunately FIV vaccinations are currently still unavailable but expected to return before June 24. Speak with our friendly staff about how to be notified when stock returns!

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE
We are appreciative of your ongoing support over the last 12 months. It’s been a pleasure looking after your furry friends. We look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Our last day in the clinic will be Friday, 22 December (closing at 7pm) and we will be reopening on Monday 8 January (at 8am).

Please ensure if your pet is on compound medication, you have placed your orders by 3pm on Monday 11 December.

For routine medication and prescription food orders, please place by 7pm Monday 18 December.

For all emergencies during this period, please contact CARE (Centre for Animal Referrals & Emergency) on 1300 888 200 or your local emergency centre.

Have you ever thought about adding a cute bonded pair to love in your home?
One of our wonderful clients are relocating and are unfortunately unable to take Tashi and Maggie with them.

Take a moment to have a read of what their owners and put together about them, but we can confirm they are wonderful brothers.

“Tashi and Maggie (domestic, black short hair) are brothers, about one year old (or just over). Desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
They are really easy to look after. Both love to be outside, but come inside in the evening, and also love to pop in and out through the day. We have a cat door, if needed.

They are both almost identical, although Maggie has a slightly narrower face than Tashi, and slightly hooded eyes. Maggie also has a faint grey stripe on his tummy.

They are both quite independent but affectionate. Maggie loves to climb and tends to like to be outside a bit more than Tashi, who loves home comforts. Tashi will often be found in a favourite spot on somebody's bed! He also does like to eat and sometimes over eats, so needs some control over access to food.
Both are very healthy however, and not overweight.

We are very sad to say goodbye to them, but hope for a good home, where they will be loved and cared for. They are really easy going and enjoy each other's company, as well as doing their own thing!”

We’re back from holidays!

We are very much looking forward to seeing all your furry friends again in 2023.

Charlie and Ava came in last month for their last puppy vaccinations so although we’ll miss seeing these very cute wiggly wombats on the regular, we’re glad they can now go out and socialise safely.

Ps. If you have any pictures of your pets at the vet, we’d love to see them!

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE
It’s been a big year for us in the clinic and as much as we’ll miss all our wonderful clients and patients for a couple weeks, we’re really looking forward to some down time with our families (maybe more our animal family over our human family🤫🤭)

We will be closed from the 24th of December and reopening from the 9th of January 2023.

Please make sure you have any food and medication orders in by 7pm on Tuesday 20th December.

Reggie says it’s time to suit up!🕴

When handsome Reggie the Border Collie came to see us for his desexing procedure earlier this month, his lovely mum also brought along this snazzy “post-op recovery suit”. The suit covered his surgical site nicely, preventing him from licking and getting at his wound throughout the crucial recovery period 👅🐶

We think it suits him to a tee!

In loving memory of beautiful Elroy who gained his wings last week… 🕊🌈

Losing a pet is one of the most difficult things in life but they will always live on in our memories as we appreciate all of the beautiful moments of joy spent together.

This will always be one of the most difficult parts of our jobs in the veterinary industry, but we are thankful that we are able to help so many pets to feel safe and comfort in their final moments with us ❤️

Thank you so much to Ellen for letting us share Elroy’s story, and to our Dr Renee for looking after him.
