Sadie was on death row - with only hours to live - when her saviour swooped in😍

Her new owner took a frantic drive from Melbourne to a remote NSW pound, to save her life. Now, Sadie has found her feet at Sankiri - like so many rescue dogs before her! ❤

Her owner says: "The dogs Lorraine works with often come with real behavioural issues. This includes dogs that are highly anxious, aggressive and reactive, especially rescue dogs with a history of abuse.

"Yet the training space is safe for owners and their dogs. This is the right place to test your dog’s behaviour and boundaries, as well as your own training skills in real life situations.

MURPHY PART 2: Murphy is now a chill dude, taking nose bops, kisses and general malarky in his stride . . .😎

He feels at home with dogs of every size and shape at Sankiri. Once reactive, Murphy is now calm enough to enjoy the company of other dogs - even cheeky ones like Sparky. In fact, they've got a bit of a bromance going! 🐶🐶

MURPHY PART 1: Meet Murphy, the handsome German Shorthaired Pointer who found the help he needed at Sankiri :)😍❤️

His owner says: "I first met Lorraine around a year ago when she was recommended to us for help with our new puppy, Murphy. He was extremely boisterous, strong-willed and feisty and we were really struggling to cope with him,

After our first session with Lorraine, we could already see some progress. Within a few months of regular sessions, both 1:1 and group training, Murphy was a different dog, much calmer, more obedient and settled.

Lorraine's focus is about training the owners as much as training the dogs themselves. She has taught us so much about the best, most effective ways to help Murphy learn to be a calm, obedient, happy dog. He loves the training sessions as much as we do and is always excited to see Lorraine and the other trainers each week!

Lorraine has a huge wealth of knowledge about canine behaviour and the way dogs think. She is always willing to share her experience and expertise, and I've never asked a question that Lorraine can't answer. Hunter the rescue dog is relishing family life - with four young girls and a heap of love!!🩷💜

He came from Cranbourne Lost Dogs Home as a bouncing pup, with energy to burn and plenty of challenging behaviours.

Now, living with a cat as well as six family members, Hunter is developing into a well-behaved dog with good social skills. He is also learning very good manners in dog company, so it's well done all round!

Continue the good work in 2025 Hunter. You never stop learning :) 🤩🩷💜

CHESTER PART 2: Chester continues his rehab in Lorraine's capable hands :)🐕‍🦺🦮🐕

He cleared his first hurdle, proving he can socialise well with other dogs.

Now, his owner needs to master the essentials of obedience training. This ensures they are in control of Chester, rather than Chester being in control of them!

It takes time and reinforcement to build up confidence and move forward.

CHESTER PART 1: It didn't take long for cheeky Chester to find his groove!!

This seven-year-old Groodle has been through the mill. He got into a fight with his canine housemate, causing injury to his owner. He needed fast rehab to ensure he stays safely in his current home.

After a private lesson, Chester worked alongside group. Following some gentle introductions, he realised it was okay to hang out with other Sankiri students. We reckon that's a smile on his face!
