It's winter, but we can still be lucky enough to get blue sky days!💙

Even on chilly days, we soon warm up out in the training yard. We also have undercover areas, when the weather can't make up its mind.

If bad weather does force us to cancel, we'll post on Facebook, so be sure to check Sankiri's page on iffy days.

The Sankiri team has a heap of lessons to help your dog understand what you need, then learn how to do it!

The gate exercise is classic. Your dog learns to follow you to the gate, but only step through when invited.

It usually doesn't take long for them to get the hang of it. Then, you can apply the rule to any door or gate at home that's out of bounds.

We're so proud of Holly the rescue dog . . . she's definitely climbed her mountain!! 💙🩵💚

The five-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer has faced so many challenges. Adopted from Cranbourne shelter last winter, she was a scared, reactive dog who trusted no-one.

Now she's a confident girl who loves her classes. Holly has made enormous progress, supported by amazing owners who always have her back.

Yep, this wee bonny lass can be a handful of trouble!😅

Cute as a button, the three-year-old Amstaff-Boxer X - rescued from North Melbourne pound - has energy and exuberance to burn.

While Bonny is typically friendly and playful, she can turn on a dime. She quickly gets spooked and reactive to other dogs, so her owner finds her very unpredictable.

At Sankiri, she's learning to be calm in dog company. And her owner is learning to be assertive, so Bonny doesn't feel she has to take charge!! 😎
