Sometimes dreams do come true! Our lost-and-found dogs prove it 💛🩷💛

Sankiri students Holly (left), Hunter (middle) and Scooter were all adopted from the Lost Dogs Home in Cranbourne.

These rescue pooches are showing what's possible with a package of love, stability and consistent training.

Despite their challenges, all are making great strides in their new homes.

Gibbs, the super-charged Staffy pup, gets to know EVERYONE!😄

Full of beans, this 13-week-old English Staffordshire Terrier gets a bit giddy in his first Sankiri puppy class.

First session is definitely all about having fun, meeting the right dogs and engaging in plenty of safe socialisation. Sankiri team members supervise the meet and greets, so everyone knows their boundaries!

Last group classes for the year are held on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December. Then we close from Saturday 21st December through Christmas and New Year.

First group class of 2025 is Saturday 18th January, kicking off a whole new year of doggo training ..... BUT we close the following weekend (Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th January) for the Australia Day holiday☀️

She's earned it too. In fact, all our Sankiri students - human and canine - have put in a big year of training. Nearly time for a bit of R&R!!

It's tough for an anxious and reactive dog to sit so close to another pooch - even a pintpot like Sharna!🐾

Yet Mia the Swiss Shepherd is learning to feel safe in canine company. It's a taste of the freedom that awaits when she finally conquers her fears.

We take things step by step, to reinforce her confidence with each new encounter. And it's working! She's come such a long way. Still anxious at times, positive reinforcement is working wonders!

We worked Jupiter soooooo hard, he's dreaming of bed!! 😴💤

An age-old problem . . . dogs fighting over a bone . . . call Sankiri to restore some order! 🦴🦴

Two-year-old Maggie (left) and five-year-old Lennie were co-existing pretty well. Then a fight broke out over a bone, and things went downhill fast.

Their owners called Lorraine to help get these gorgeous girls back on track. During their first in-home session, Lorraine showed them how to curb the territorial behaviours that caused the scuffle in the first place.

With the right guidance, and lots of positive reinforcement, this German Short-haired Pointer duo are learning to get along again.
