🐾 Meet Marley the shihtzu and Penny the staffy 🐾

Marley has been a much loved client of ours for the past few years. He has been visiting us for therapy to manage the discomforts of arthritis 💕

A recent addition to Marley’s family is gorgeous Penny, a rescue girl who came along for a meet and greet yesterday.

Penny will be a future patient of ours and we just know that she will love her bodywork. She eagerly jumped up on the table with anticipation 🤩

🐾 When your a handsome 22 year old and love your fortnightly therapy sessions 🐾

Despite being predominantly three legged and arthritic, Bodhi still loves life and knows what’s good for him. Our goal is to keep him comfortable and mobile in his senior years.

We love visiting Bodhi along with all the other special souls at Rosie's Hospice of Compassion 💕

🐾 Meet Frankie, who we are assisting with her recovery and rehabilitation following Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) surgery 🐾

Frankie is a sweet, 4 year old daschund who had IVDD surgery a month ago.

Frankie enjoyed her first treatment consisting of manual therapy, red light therapy and gentle stretching.

We are so pleased to hear that within a few days of her first treatment, Frankie has been able to walk more and drag less in her hindlimbs.

In the weeks ahead we will build on her rehabilitation plan to further improve on her mobility and strength.

Alice is an 11 year old who has been feeling the discomforts of arthritis.

We aim to improve Alice’s mobility and comfort with a combination of our modalities, so she can live life optimally in her senior years ♥️

🐾 Meet five year old Biscuit, who has been a little weak and uncoordinated in his hindlegs following a recent seizure diagnosis 🐾

Biscuit enjoyed his myotherapy and red light therapy session to ease his restricted muscles and we have also recommended some strengthening exercises to do in between visits to improve his proprioception.

Biscuit is such a sweet boy and we are happy to be supporting him on his health journey 💕

⭐️ We are very excited to be shortly introducing Class IV Laser Therapy into our practise ⭐️

💡What is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, is a non invasive, painfree and safe therapeutic treatment to encourage faster healing, manage pain and decrease inflammation to aid in an accelerated recovery.

The laser is placed on the skin, allowing light energy to pe*****te through tissue where it interacts with the cells, creating photochemical and photothermal changes at cellular and tissue levels.

This allows for increased circulation, accelerated tissue regeneration and decreased acute and chronic inflammation and pain, to help restore optimal function.

💡What conditions can Laser Therapy assist with?

🐾 The look of total satisfaction - Handsome Alfie after indulging in his vegie ear treat following his rehabilitation session🐾

Alfie is a senior tri-pawed boy who has been benefitting from regular manual therapy sessions to release tension in his overworked muscles to manage muscular pain and joint stress.

Alfie is also benefitting from therapeutic exercise to strengthen all remaining limbs and to focus on the core, in order to maintain proper balance and weight distribution.

🐾 Gorgeous boy Harley is a regular client of mine who I visit for maintenance treatments 🐾

Harley is an 11 year old cavalier who loves his scent work and cuddles on the couch with his mum.

He has lost a little weight since his last session, and the improvement to his energy levels and mobility is noticeable.. such a happy boy!

Harley love his treatments and caught be by surprise with a grateful kiss 💕

Annie is a 9 year old greyhound who we are treating for arthritis and spondylosis.

We work closely alongside Annie’s vet to manage her condition, with mutual goals to slow down the degenerative progression whilst keeping Annie comfortable, pain free and mobile 💕

Annie loves her treatment, and I love the look of total appreciation that she gives at the end of her session 🥰

We began treating 12 year old Alfie, the handsome Moodle, in his younger years to ease aches and pains due to his over exertions.

Now in his golden years, we are able to maintain Alfie’s active episodes with Myotherapy and red light therapy treatments, so he can continue enjoying a quality of life, comfortably 💕

We visit Hugo monthly for maintenance treatments and our recent visit was well timed, as Hugo had injured his front leg a few hours prior after some active play at his local park.

Myotherapy, red light therapy and gentle stretching eased the tense muscles and put a smile on his face 💕

Lilly and Lennie are much loved members of our little farm sanctuary. They arrived earlier in the year and have settled in very well, very much part of the family. Lilly and Lennie are the best of friends and were both born as triplets to different mums. They were abandoned by their mothers. My amazing cousin took them in from the local farmers and bottle fed them for many months.
