Alison obtained her nationally recognised qualification under award winning, highly respected groomer and trainer Kylie Tatti. Kylie is a third generation dog groomer with over 29 years experience. Kylie's numerous awards include Royal Melbourne Grooming Champion (2013), Supreme Royal Grooming Champion - Australia (2014), Best in Show (Grooming Competition) Melbourne Royal (2017) just to name a few!! Along with her expert grooming knowledge, Kylie is also well renowned for teaching her gentle handling techniques.
Alison is also a registered ANKC dog breeder, under the prefix of Beaudore Golden Retrievers, & regularly attends dog shows with her much loved Golden Retrievers. Dogs are our life & we wouldn't have it any other way!!
Our modern, fully equipped grooming salon has been designed with the comfort & cleanliness of your pet in mind. Our grooming equipment is ergonomically designed to eliminate the need to manually lift your dog, which can be stressful to some pooches. Older pets will appreciate the ease of access, allowing them to step in/onto our equipment, making their grooming experience more relaxing.
We offer our clients the one-on-one attention they deserve to ensure their time at our salon is as calm and relaxing as possible. Where possible, we don't like to crate your dogs & prefer for them to be dropped off at their appointment time & we will call you 15 minutes prior to completion. We can cater for families of dogs to be groomed together by booking back-to-back appointments. Our salon is air conditioned & heated, and fitted out with comfortable beds for your dogs to relax in if you are running a little late. Your dog can even watch some tv or listen to some music while they wait.
We provide a little bit of luxury for your pampered pooches at no extra cost.
Chlorine is universally used to chemically disinfect water. Chlorine is added to the water to destroy germs, bacteria and living organisms. Your dog is also a living organism, and chlorine affects the body internally as well as externally.
Inhalation and skin absorption of chloroform and chlorine by-products are greatest in the shower & bath, where these gases are vaporised.
Our bath water is filtered with patented chlorgon and KDF technology to remove chlorine, heavy metals, dirt and odours from the tap water, which has a positive effect on skin allergies and eczema
Premium Shampoos
We stock a large range of premium salon quality shampoos to suit every coat type, including Organic, Natural, Vegan shampoos which can be of benefit to dogs with sensitive skin. If your dog does suffer from skin allergies, please discuss this with us at your appointment time so we can choose a shampoo that will best suit your pooches needs. Our natural range of shampoos include Manuka Honey & Goats Milk, Peppermint & Sage, Green Tea & Dead Sea Mud, Apple Cider Vinegar & Himilayan Salt, and Coconut Milk & Greek Yoghurt.
