VIC Peninsula Branch members - join us on Thursday 14 March for a cardiology seminar at the Mornington Golf Club.

Dr Mark Rishniw and Dr Richard Woolley will look at how to better diagnose or suspect CHF in dogs using simple diagnostic information. They'll also look at how to better classify dogs with MMVD and the limitations of the current ACVIM Consensus Statement.

Yesterday the AVA, in collaboration with the RSPCA, Municipal Association of Victoria and the Australian Institute of Animal Management, ran a workshop to assist local councils with their animal management. Around 50 councils were represented on the day. It was a great to understand the challenges they face and how we can all work together to implement strategies and assist councils to form partnerships with vets in their municipality. The workshop was held at the RSPCA and the goats in the paddock did a great job of entertaining us before we began
