Photography literally means "painting with light". Working in a studio environment enables us to create the wonderfully lit photographs and photographic wall art that Zoo Studio are renowned for. Not every photographer can capture great photographs of dogs and cats. To CONSISTANTLY get brilliant photos it takes insight and an intuitive ability to create a connection with your pet. It is about being pet-savvy! Zoo Studio photograph more than 1200 dogs and cats each year and include a qualified Vet Nurse and animal behaviourist on staff. Definitely! We frequently photograph people with their pets, and love to capture this unique and special bond. This is already included in your studio session fee.

Please let us know if you wish to be in the photos when booking in your session as this is important information for our preparation.

Beautiful Joyce is a 6-month old Jack Russell cross Pug and she just loves being around her Mum! She is a great companion and loves laying next to her as well as snuggling up in bed. 🐶🥰
She has a very kind nature and will go up and greet any other dogs regardless of their size. If she is a little unsure of a dog, she will be the first one who will lay and submit on her back to let them know she wants to be friends! Too cute Joyce!! 💕
She is also very cheeky and loves to get in her Mum’s underwear drawer and help her ‘get ready’ for work by getting her clothes out! We wish all dogs could do that!! 🤣
Joyce is also a great little protector and if she hears any kind of noise, she will be the one to get up and bark to alert her family. 😍
She loves to play chasey and adores her toys and balls but loves it most when her Mum chases her around. She will do zoomies around the house and jump all over the couch and chairs! ❤️
You are such a delightful little girl, Joyce! 🐕🐾🐾

Say hello to this terrific feline trio of Layla, Baelfire and Dyson. 🐱❤️
Layla is completely beautiful with a gorgeous tortie colouring, is loving and enjoys her own space and independence. 🥰
Black cat, Baelfire is just that – she can be fiery at times but is an independent girl who loves her mum but is definitely her own ‘woman’! 💕
Dyson is a gorgeous, majestic black and white cat who was inherited into the family and is approximately 16-17 years of age. He is the most cuddly, loving and affectionate cat who is completely temperamental when he wants attention or when it is time to go to bed. He follows his mum everywhere and he has brought character and love to the family and he means everything to his mum! 😍
These three certainly make a wonderful trifecta! 🐈🐾🐾

Beautiful Lexie, or as she is often called, ‘Lexie-Lou’, is a 9yo black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is the absolute centre of her Mum and Dad’s universe! 🐶😍
She is a loving, crazy baby who their parents totally and completely adore! She loves her play time and is a very affectionate and lovable girl. ❤️
Like most Staffies, Lexie can be a little needy but this just makes her more lovable to her Mum and Dad. 🥰
We would find it hard not to fall in love with you too Lexie-Lou! 🐕💕
