Melissa Pawsitive Animal Therapies already offers so many beneficial therapies for all animlas. She never stops studying and learning and now will be offering laser therapy as well as Myotherapy, massage and light therapy. Melissa treeats my dogs regularyly. She is a natural born healer and the reason my 22 year old 3 legged boy is still bouncing along and loving life pain free 🥰

💡What is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, is a non invasive, painfree and safe therapeutic treatment to encourage faster healing, manage pain and decrease inflammation to aid in an accelerated recovery.

The laser is placed on the skin, allowing light energy to pe*****te through tissue where it interacts with the cells, creating photochemical and photothermal changes at cellular and tissue levels.

This allows for increased circulation, accelerated tissue regeneration and decreased acute and chronic inflammation and pain, to help restore optimal function.

💡What conditions can Laser Therapy assist with?

Laser therapy can help with many health conditions including (but not limited to):

Rockit is a 2 year old Jack Russel who is in search of her perfect home. Although she may be a little shy initially, once she warms up to you she will love you with all her might; showering you with kisses and settling in your lap for pats and tummy rubs.

Rockit loves to go for walks, play with her squeaky toys and her teddy bears. She absolutely love a back yard to patrol and keep an eye on surroundings, while occasionally nibbling on a blade of grass or doing zoomies!

Tug-of-war is one of Rockit’s favourite pass-times. Second to that is treats! If you buy any she doesn’t eat she will march around the house with them in her mouth until she finds a specially selected hidey-hole for storage so she can try them later.

Rockit would be best suited to a single pet household as she is such a big personality and has had conflict with another dog she shared her home with in the past.

She will snuggle down in her bed but given some encouragement she could easily be convinced to settle down next to you on the bed, but be prepared for morning kisses!

Most important Rockit can be an anxious dog who needs someone who will love her and provide her with a stable environment where she can flourish and reach her full potential. A quiet suburban home would be perfect for her.

Today, we bid farewell to Sinead and Winter as they head off to Adelaide, where Sinead will study veterinary science. These two truly embody what it means to love a dog. Winter, once reactive around other dogs, has transformed thanks to Sinead's dedication, becoming the “goodest,” most fun kelpie boy we know. He absolutely adores her and will stay by her side as she embarks on her studies. Dogs truly journey with us through so many chapters of our lives.
