For the past few weeks Tingsha (Lhaso Apso) has trained his American Uncle Scott in the art of dog agility fun 😀 This morning we farewelled Scott as he heads off for more adventure. Little Bessie finally has the stable loving home that she deserves 🥰 At barely 2 years of age Bessie has already had 4 homes and been in and out of the shelter system twice 😪 No wonder she is an anxious little girl. Bessie has finally fallen on all four paws and into the hearts and home of the most loving humans Jane and Grant. You are safe now sweet girl. Onwards and upwards from here. Bessie joiined the Basic Manners class last week. Some of you may know Jane and Grant from their time at Planet K9 with Astro and Buffy - 2 very special dogs who blossomed from worried rescues to major players in our Small Paws Gang ❤️❤️

Desi’s new life ❤️ 3 months ago Desi was saved from a certain death. This “failed” working dog was about to have his life cruelly ended until Sharyn intervened to save him. He clearly adores his new Mama. Desi graduated from the Basic Manners course yesterday and will start Off Leash Control training next week. We love you Desi and look forward to lots more fun because life with dogs is meant to be joyful 😀

Calling out for 2 calm helper dogs for this Saturday from 1:30pm -2:15pm. It will imvolve sitting for 15 mins with a small group of dogs and walking for 30 mins with a small anxious dog in a controller on leash environment.

Big cheers for today’s fabulous team of Chilled Unicorns ❤️ Thank you to Co ordinator Angela and Lucy Lou, and helpers Ruby and Hazel and Nat with Pjil, Momo and Murph. The Chilled Unicorns is a legacy project in honour of 2 extremely special dogs (Chilli and Jet) who helped hundreds of dogs to gain social confidence). Today this group helped Otto Schnauzer to learn how to chill at our favourite cafe Crown St Stables .

Agility fun starts again on August 4th. We have 2 spots available in the 10am Agility 1 course. Your classmates are a fabulous bunch and we will have loads of fun.
