Horse people have all the time to do the wrong thing over and over again, or have all the time in the 🌍 to do things wrong, I see it all the time. But not enough time to do it right the first time, and progressing with what they have just done right. We wait until something bad happens or we get injured before we decide to try another way.The famous saying I have learnt from great horseman is..Take the time it takes, so it takes less time.“This might seem counterintuitive, but it’s actually the quickest way to make genuine progress in a horse’s training.”Put plainly, don’t rush through training your horses. Avoid seeking instant solutions to their behavior problems. Developing a highly skilled horse takes time in any activity. While there are moments where we need quick responses from our horses, patience is key for their overall development.“If we are always rushing, we miss out on great moments with our 🐴 . Pushing them too hard before they’re ready doesn’t help them progress.”Take it slow, and break tasks into smaller steps if your horse is having trouble understanding.Take the time it takes your 🐴 will thank you for it, and you will be glad you didn’t rush your horse and did it the right way. Love what I do, respect and trust the process. 🐴💕 #horsemanship #horsetraining #savvytip #horsemanshiptip #equestrian #horsetrainingtips #horsegirl #cowboygal #takethetimeittakes #horse
The first question We should ask ourselves, if we want our relationship to be different from what they are is.."What do I need to change?"It's not easy. For a LONG time I wanted others to change. It was so much easier to see what they should be doing differently, whether it was my 🐴 my family, or an acquaintance.See, it doesn't even matter if the other person should legitimately change whatever you believe they should. We have no control or power over anyone else in the 🌍 except ourself. If we don't like the outcome, change what we are doing. 🙌 🐎 have taught me a lot about me, They are constantly communicating even if we aren't willing to understanding it, sometimes aren't even willing to listen. But when we start to really listen to 🐎 they Start to really pay attention to the nonverbal communication of those around you...✨Then ✨The magic happens. We learn so much about ourselves and be better for it.It may hurt at first, but it will change everything! There is nothing you can't do when the becomes apart of you.❤️🐴Love what I do respect and trust the process.💕#horsetrainingtips #lifewithhorses #changeyourself #investormindset #entrepreneur #equestrian #horsegirls #horsemanshiptraining #passiveincome #personalgrowth #wealthmindset

You know what doesn't impress me?
If the 🐴 bucks with the first saddle/ girth/cinch/riders weight and the horse hasn't bucked prior or it has no history of bucking or hasn't had any trauma that needs to be over come, then you have missed critical steps in your training or foundation that has been missed in the training process.
🐴 don't do things for no reason the horse doesn't lie and will not do things or react for no reason.
I know 'letting them buck it out' is a super common method and used around the 🌎 😡
I know that it's a quick process and most 🐴 only do this for a few sessions.
It's not my way of doing I know that that's the way people have been starting horses for hundreds of years" and a lot of 🐴 have turned out absolutely fine.
BUT that's just not the way I do it here.
I feel that if a bucks or displays similarly anxious or fear related behaviour during the starting process I have failed the 🐴 and some how missed a learning point for the horse and we as trainers haven't done the job correctly.
Nor have we earned the right to move onto the next step with the 🐴.
If you think it can't be done, and they ALL have a little hop in them the first time, then I'll invite you over one time and show you how it's done. ✅
If you don't agree, that's ok, you don't have to change my mind my content probably isn't for you anyway l😂
You start your 🐴 your way, and I'll just be over here starting them a little more quietly and a little more 'boring' my own way.
Starting your 🐴 is one of the most important stages of the horses life, which is overlooked like you wouldn’t believe, starting a horse the right way is the most important stage of its training it’s the solid foundation that sets the horse up for the rest of its life. ❤️
