Summer is almost here and the warmer weather is approaching. Stay tuned for some summer safety tips and things to watch for.
⛱always have cool fresh water available
⛱don't leave them in cars, even with the windows rolled down
⛱watch for raising temps when walking on concrete, sand, and blacktop
⛱walk in the shade, save your walks for the mornings or later evenings
⛱elderly, very young, and short nosed dogs are more susceptible to heat stroke

🎃Bring a flashlight
🎃wear bright colored clothing
🎃go with an adult
🎃don't feed dogs candy
🎃watch for cars and obey traffic laws
🎃do not go inside any homes
🎃use common sense and avoid "sticky" situations
🎃stay in familiar neighborhoods
🎃have fun

Giving treats and feeding our fur kitties is something everyone loves to do. That is one way we bond with them and teach them. There are many foods or snacks they can have but there are also a lot they cannot have and can actually make them very sick.
