How do you know your pups nails are too long?

The best sign is that they are touching floor during normal standing. As they touch the floor, they put pressure on your pups foot similar to a shoe that is too small.

🎉💎 BEFORE & AFTER TRANSFORMATION: Don’t we all love a good before and after shot? Look at our adorable furry friend’s new look from Shampoo Smiles from the past weekend. Didn’t little (big) Bernedoodle Boston come out beautiful? We love that new asian fusion inspired teddy look on him and had the best time spoiling him 🧡🐕 🧡

And the best thing about it? Boston was so well behaved and truly enjoyed his pamper 🛁🧖‍♀️. He is only a youngster but his parents have build up a wonderful love for grooming in her. That takes dedication, effort and love - we applaud you 👏.

DID YOU KNOW that trimming your -Oodles hair regularly makes it grow stronger and healthier, just like our own hair? 🌱🛁🧖‍♀️

It also grows 1-2cm a month indefinitely, just like our hair, and needs to be treated with conditioner and hair masks regularly to not break and grow dull with continuous brushing 💇‍♀️🧴In fact, you should never brush dry -Oodle hair, always spray conditioner first to keep hair shiny and your furry friend happy during your bonding brush time 🧡

✂️🐩 This lovely Groodle girl Honey had exactly that, a healthy trim and moisturising coat restoration ☺️🎀💅🐶

After a relaxing spa bath with our organic shampoo and a rejuvenating scrub, our furry friend enjoyed a gentle blow dry and a teddy style scissor trim…She came out looking and feeling great, with a softened coat, smelling divine 🌸😌🧖‍♀️

🧡🐶 WE ARE FILLING UP FAST for the rest of the year with nearly all appointments gone, so we thought its a good time to let you all know about our closure plans for the holiday season.

To relax and reset as a team, Shampoo Smiles will be closed from December 29th to January 12th, returning on Monday 13th of Jan 2025.

While we are looking forward to the holiday season, summer approaching and spending time with family and loved ones, we also know that Christmas and Summer in general is a very busy grooming period.

As such, please book your furry friends appointment for Nov/Dec AND Jan right away to not miss out. We have been so lucky to have grown fast and are eternally grateful to all our supporters BUT cannot make exceptions once we are fully booked.

Not overbooking is key to remaining calm and stress-free at the Shampoo Smiles Spa, which we know you all love and cherish.

Please reach out to us at any time if you need help scheduling your furry friend in. We will shortly start a waitlist for Christmas appointments. Thank you🧡🐶

SUNDAY SPA DAY for our regular furry friend lovely Bernese Mountain Dog Harlow 🧡🫧🧖‍♀️ Double coated breeds like her, especially with a European, frosty ancestry, require regular deshedding and deep-cleansing to remove dead coat, greasy sebum and flaky skin to enable healthy new skin and coat growth. Especially now that it gets warmer, our experts highly recommend monthly detox spa or de-shed sessions! 🐶🧡🌱 Our furry friend Harlow certainly needed her more intense detox session with us over the weekend. After we successfully removed tangles, mats and arms full of dead fur from her coat, she thoroughly enjoyed a deep-cleanse scrub and health-restoring conditioning treatment 💎💎💎 Lovely Harlow felt like a new pup after her pamper session and rewarded us with a big “Shampoo Smile”. ROPE TOYS ARE AMAZING for your furry friends dental health 🦷🪥🐶 The friction they create when your pup chews on them naturally removes old food and minor tartar from the teeth. Even better if they are soft like our handmade rope toys - and not hard or sharp as to not injure their mouth or gums. Plus they are super fun, as displayed by lovely Ralphy who was in for a refreshing deshed spa today ☺️🧡 Nothing beats playtime followed by a pamper!
