Thank you for all of your interest in Slim this beautiful boy has been adopted! 🐶

Wishing him the very best in his new home with his family. Slim was passed around and brought off Gumtree only to find himself dumped at the pound the very next day. We busted him out of the pound and the rest is history. In his short life, he's been passed around a lot but his new life starts now!🩵✨️

Simaya is a bundle of energy and love! He has a special talent for hunting toys with strings — tease him, and you'll witness some of the cutest leaps as he proudly catches his “prey” and drags it triumphantly across the lounge, often hiding it behind the couch for safekeeping.

When Simaya is not hunting, he's eating — food is truly the best thing ever in his world! But the best part? He's small enough to curl right up on your chest for the coziest snuggles, where you'll feel all the love he has to offer. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate companion, this little one is ready to be your new best friend!

Simaya is being fostered with his brother Bodhi, for a pair of kittens we do take off $50 for two kittens going to the same home. Simaya is sure to complete your home and make you feel all of the love. He's truly so sweet and we can't wait for him to meet his forever family 💗

Meet Gnocchi

A few days ago, we put a call out on our page about 7 staffy-X dogs/pups that were about to be euthanised because their time was running out in the pound. These are the faces of the dogs that are all now safe! 🎉

Those of you who offered to foster or offered to be a backup carer, THANK YOU 👏👏 We couldn't have done this without you, and these dogs get to live their lives like they always deserved. They don't have to be put to sleep in the pound due to overcrowding and very slow adoptions.

Slim is a very affectionate and inquisitive little lap dog who loves a cuddle!

He's full of personality, with a playful and adventurous spirit. He loves his plush toys and it has been adorable watching him go from shy in the pound to playful and cheeky!

Whether he's exploring new smells on a walk or burrowing under blankets for a nap, Slim is happiest when he's close to his favourite people! We are asking for someone home more often than not, he can’t get enough of his humans 💞 and wouldn’t do well with full time worker setup.

With his loyal and loving nature, Slim is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a dog who will shower them with love.

Slim is well-behaved overall inside the house. While he might occasionally snag a stray sock or pair of un**es left on the ground, he doesn't chew on furniture or cause any major trouble. He's fairly well toilet-trained but benefits from gentle prompts to keep him on track.

Most of the time, Slim is either curled up for a nap or snuggling up for affection, making him a calm and loving presence indoors.

Slim is also crate trained and does amazing overnight!

Slim is quite the active little dachie! He enjoys two walks a day, which helps keep him well-stimulated. He also loves playing in the yard with toys, balls, and sticks, and he enjoys doing zoomies.

Slim is well-behaved around other dogs. Another small dog to become his bestie would suit him well 👬

He was very shy when we got him but came around super quickly with cuddles and lots of treats! He may also take a while to adjust to other people in the house, whether they are housemates or visitors. The same approach will work well in these situations

He loves to snuggle up to you and is always happy to see you. It’s also adorable to watch him do laps in the hallway with a big stuffed animal.

This endearing little man is not just a pet; Slim is a faithful companion full of love, ready to bond and share his joyful spirit with his new family.

Meet Aubrey

Her foster carer describes has as the "most cuddly cat ever". She will love to love you! ♥️ Naps together, rainy days in and watching your favourite movie with you. She's the true definition of a lap cat and a cuddle girl 😻 She will also happily sleep at the foot of your bed all night. Aubrey is perfection! 💕✨️The fluff, her colouring and her stunning eyes, we can't get enough of her that's for sure.

We truly are obsessed with this one and we know whoever meets her is going to fall in love 🥹🩵

Update on Pearl 🐚

Pearl was our little Rottweiler who came to us with a broken heart. She was left at the pound to be parted with her best mate, a male Rottweiler she'd been with her whole life.

All we wanted for this girl was another dog to be beside her again in life. Make that a dream come true if that dog was a male rottie....

Ryan and Gabby fostered Pearl and Ryan adopted her three weeks later. Pearl, the little Rottie, and Manu, the big Rottie, fell in love.

Now that's a fairytale ending!

We NEED THE COMMUNITY to step forward; without people to help us, we cannot save these dogs.

The main pound we save our dogs from is overcrowded, these dogs HAVE to be on transport next week. If they do not get on transport they will be euthanised 💔

Time has run out; everyone is full, but they are babies. Please help us save them!!

Fostering is the only way rescues can save dogs.

But FOSTER CARERS are at an ALL-TIME LOW!

IF FOSTER CARERS DON'T APPLY, THE DOGS WILL BE EUTHANISED LIKE SO MANY OTHERS BEFORE THEM.

If you can foster one of these dogs, please email us at [email protected]. In the past, we get a lot of emails, but we don't always get our questionnaire back. You must fill out the questionnaire if you are keen to foster.

A brief description of the dogs needing help:

Kelpie. Male. Approx 1 Year. Very very social and friendly with all dogs and puppies and humans. Typical young kelpie energy.

Staffy X puppies: Some 12, some 16 weeks.Very friendly. Will do fine with other dogs, cats, pocket pets or kids.

Older Staffy X’s: Approx 1-2 Years: Friendly and social with humans and other dogs.

All dogs will need basic training and it is expected they’ll need a few days to come out of their shell. These dogs are coming from past lives with not much love or interaction, so please apply if you can give them the love, training and time they deserve.

We will provide constant support, food, lead and collar!

This little man found himself in a regional pound and is in need of a home where he can access indoors and outdoors. He is friendly but stressed in the pound and doesn't like to be handled too much as it overstimulates him. He would prefer a home where he has access to indoors and outdoors; he has lived his life outside by being fed and is stressed with an indoor-only lifestyle. If you are looking for a cat to keep the mice away he would love a little job to do. You can give him little pats, and every day, he will love you more and more.

He is fully vetted, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and wormed.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding and special experiences you can have, and on top you get to save a life 💞

Alex and Laura have fostered many dogs for us and through them we were able to help so many sad and neglected pound animals.

These two fostered our beautiful Mumma dog Sandy and she took with them a piece of their heart when she was adopted. They never forgot her, and when they fostered their next pup who reminded them of Sandy, they fell in love and decided to adopt Manuela themselves.

Sandy and Manuela were able to meet and together these two show just how beautiful it is to open your heart to a rescue dog 🐕

Snickers is giving us BIG smiles this Sunday and our beautiful girl is still looking for a home of her own 🏡 💕

Have you ever dreamed of having a dog that never wanted to leave your side? Who was so head over heels in love with their owner that they wanted to do everything together?
Snickers is probably the most affectionate and adoring companion we have ever met.
She gazes up at you with love waiting for cuddles 24/7- whether you’re in the garden, in the kitchen, or sitting down reading a book- Snickers is right there beside you with her head in your lap.
Snickers is 8 years old and is a fantastic mix of laid back and on the go. She absolutely loves her daily walks and she’s very fit; it’s hard to tell she’s 8 years old, she’s always up for adventures.
She is a Husky x Border Collie making for the most beautiful golden/hazel brown coat!
She is so placid and easy to have around, she would be the cutest work from home companion.
If she had it her way she would spend all day cuddling you. Your heart melts at how much she loves affection and she nuzzles up right in your neck if you’re sitting on the couch or laying in bed.
Snickers is crate trained and toilet trained, and is happy with one walk a day. She’s pretty easy to please!
This girl is super friendly with dogs on walks and loves to say hi but being a little bit older she can be a bit grumpy and doesn’t like when dogs suprise her from behind, so for that reason we need her to be the only dog in the home.
If you’re looking for the most affectionate and adoring dog ever, then Snickers is your girl. She’s always waiting for the next cuddle.

How cute is this little guy saved from a regional pound...

At the start of the year we were contacted by a pound to save three terrified puppies who had literally been dumped there by their owners. The video of the three of them was heartbreaking, they were huddling together out of fear and looked so broken for such young pups.

Thanks to three amazing families who put their hands up to foster, we were able to bust them all out of the pound and place them safely into foster homes.

Bruno and Maple were adopted into wonderful homes, but the shyer of the trio, Wally, waited as the months went by and no application's came in. We couldn't understand why as he was such a gentle and loving pup.

Wally kept on waiting for that perfect fit, until one day his foster family realised, he'd already found it.

The first photo is Wally in the pound, the second is Day 1 with his foster mum, and the third is Wally now with his previous foster mum now FOREVER mum!

It's a hard life washing puppies but someone has to do it 🥵

This little baby was found solo in someone's backyard we aren't sure how she got there but with no mum in sight and being just 6 weeks old she needed help ASAP. We were able to save her and get her a flea bath, high quality kitten food and settle her into rescue where she'll stay until she's ready for adoption 🩵✨️ Thank you to our carers for making this possible 🥰

The animal crisis is in full swing, and Christmas is the worst time of the year to surrender your pets. Everyone is going away and has the same idea to surrender them to a pound. Please just don't do it, do better 😔
