Our beautiful mum passed away yesterday, after battling cancer for 5 years. She was a strong vibrant woman with a dark sense of humor. We will miss her so much.
The memorial service and celebration of her life will be held next Wednesday 14th August at 2pm at Allison Monkhouse Brighton (124 Carpenter St), with drinks and nibbles to follow from 3:30 at Half Moon, also in Brighton. A link will be available for people who are unable to attend in person. We hope you can join us to celebrate her life ❤️

Can’t believe the carnage in Daylesford last night. Six people are now dead. Tony and I are fine although Tony was in the roundabout when it happened. He found it very confronting as the police didn’t arrive for 15 minutes so the public were helping the victims. Helicopters were flying until late in the evening taking victims to various hospitals. People’s lives changed forever.

After 42 years of looking after our beautiful friends and their dogs, the Canine Clip Joint will be closing this week.

Unfortunately, illness and subsequent treatments are preventing me from being able to work, and due to the nature of the work, we are only able to operate as a full team. We are very sorry that it has come to this. Our beautiful staff are very upset, but we see no other way to continue to provide you with grooming services at the moment.

The Canine Clip Joint is a very special place we have built over the last 40 years. What started as a hobby, has turned into a joyous, very rewarding career that has enriched all our lives.
Dogs who run in to see us ahead of their owners makes us smile every day. It is a testament to the care and love we have for this profession. Even the amazing people we’ve crossed paths with – the best group of clients and friends in Melbourne.

We count ourselves lucky to have had clients continue to bring their pets to us over the years, some who have been with us from the very beginning in Glenhuntly Road.

Thank you to our clients and friends who have sent beautiful flowers, messages and very emotional phone calls, we will really miss our regular catch-ups and your gorgeous dogs.

I hope our friendships can continue in the future, but for now it is goodbye from Jenny, Tony, Troy and Denise ###

It’s hard to imagine some vets tell you that this is dangerous and you could kill your dog by feeding whole foods and they’d prefer you to feed highly processed “food” with synthetic nutrients from formulas that are mostly vegetarian….
