Our Ibis friends from last week who were suffering the deadly effects of Botulism are now back in the wild!!

Thanks to the 3 members of the public who contacted us for help so we could start these birds on the right track to recovery. And a huge thank you to Kay from Wild Days Wildlife Shelter for continuing their care and releasing them back to our beautiful Lynbrook Lake today!

3 Botulism Ibis in today. A very common occurrence after this type of weather pattern with wet days followed by hot days.

After having their stomachs pumped and a number of fluid boluses throughout the day, these birds have been transported to the incredible Wild Days Wildlife Shelter for ongoing support before being ready for release in a few days time.

Thank you to the 3 kind-hearted members of the public who called in and assisted with transporting these birds to our clinic. Your quick actions are the reason these birds have a fighting chance!
