He was in for his first groom at a perfect time, during his Critical Socialisation Period, which is very important to expose young pups to all kinds of activities and situations that they will face throughout life, in a positive and fun manner

We had the privilege of introducing little puppies Arlo and Gigi the Toy Poodles to the world of grooming!

Puppy socialisation is much more than just meeting other dogs. In fact, that's a very small part of it!

Right in the midst of their Critical Socialisation Period, when a puppy is a sponge to learning of the big wide world, it's imperative to get positive exposure & desensitisation to different environments and activities so they can grow to be confident, balanced & happy. Grooming is often over looked, but imperative to get right! Especially for breeds that require very regular visits with longer and easily knotted coats

We kept it light & easy going over brushing, nail clipping, baths & drying, showing them all these things can be fun & rewarding! ✂️ 🛁
