🎄🐶 Ready to share some holiday treats with your furry friend? Before you dish out the festive feast, check out these do’s & don’ts to keep your pup’s Christmas menu safe, healthy, and oh-so-tasty!

✅ DO
Apples: Provide fiber, which can help with GI issues.
Bananas: Provide magnesium, which promotes bone growth, and fiber.
Blueberries: Rich in antioxidants.
Carrots: Low in calories.
Cheese: Low in lactose and rich in calcium; keep to small amounts of plain cheese.
Coconut Water: Helps strengthen the immune system.
Eggs: Provide protein.
Green Beans: Provide vitamin C, vitamin K, and manganese.
Pumpkin: Provides fiber and beta carotene.
Rice: Easy to digest for dogs who have an upset stomach.
Skin-on Potatoes: Provide vitamins C and B6.
Skin-on Sweet Potatoes and Squash: Provide fiber and vitamins.
Turkey: Provides highly digestible protein.

❌ DON’T
Avocados: Contain persin, a toxin.
Baking Powder and Baking Soda: Toxic in large quantities.
Cherries: Contain cyanide, a toxin.
Chocolate: Contains methylxanthines, which are toxic to dogs.
Cooked Bones: Present a choking hazard.
Garlic and Onions: Contain n-propyl disulfide, which is toxic to dogs.
Grapes and Raisins: Toxic to dogs.
Nutmeg: Toxic in large quantities.
Stuffing: Contains a variety of toxic ingredients like garlic, onions, raisins, and nuts.
Table Scraps (Turkey Skin, Fatty Trimmings): High in fat, which can cause pancreatitis.
Walnuts and Macadamia Nuts: Toxic to dogs.
