Jess will be working out of both the Warrandyte Vet Clinic and our sister clinic Vet Hub! She looks forward to meeting all your smiling faces! ๐Ÿฅณ

๐Ÿ’ฅWe would like to introduce our newest vet Dr Jess Bowen. ๐Ÿ’ฅ
She's very excited about joining our team at Warrandyte Vet clinic and Vet Hub.

Dr Jess who is orginally from the UK, has been practicing in Darwin and Alice Springs since she came to Australia in 2019.

Jess' passions are surgery, including advanced soft tissue and orthopaedics, and she enjoys gold standard medical work ups. She enjoys building longstanding relationships with our lovely patients and clients. Jess is happy to see your furry patients.

Outside of work Jess is kept busy with her cheeky sausage dog Snag, her young family and making polymer clay earrings!

Big smiles if you were a very brave boy for your desexing surgery and got lots of cuddles from the nurses! ๐Ÿ˜

Little Milly has recently recovered after a short hospital stay with the team at Warrandyte Vet Clinic. Milly presented to Dr Jiwon when she became unwell with a reduced appetite and abdominal pain. Through diagnostic testing we were able to diagnose Milly with pancreatitis!

Pancreatitis is a condition when the pancreas becomes inflamed and can be acute or chronic with symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, lethargy, decreased appetite, fever, abdominal pain and general nausea.

Pancreatitis can be caused by the consumption of fatty foods, which can include those yummy treats that we think all dogs should enjoy! Including bones, ham, sausages, bacon etc!

Milly was a model patient while in hospital with us and has made a great recovery and will now continue on a low fat diet at home! Good work Milly! ๐Ÿคฉ

โญ๏ธ Still looking for her forever home! โญ๏ธ

Maya, our beautiful mum cat has done an amazing job at raising her adorable 4 babies and is now ready to look for her own loving home!

Maya would suit a smaller, quiet household where she can be given the time to gain confidence to explore.

When one on one Maya is very friendly and is beginning to trust and enjoy the company of people, but Maya really thrives with other animals (cats or dogs) and this really helps her confidence. She is an absolute sweetheart but is shy and needs to gradually build her confidence. She has shown no desire to get outside and actively seeks out other animals and interacts beautifully with them.

She has recently undergone her desexing procedure and is now ready for her next chapter in life!

If you think you could be a good fit for our lovely Maya please get in touch with either the Warrandyte Vet Clinic on (03) 9844 3071 or Vet Hub Ringwood on (03) 9870 7479.

๐Ÿฑ๐ŸŽ‰ Introducing โ€ฆ ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฑ

We are excited to announce Warrandyte Vet Clinic have partnered with Edgarโ€™s Mission, a non profit farm sanctuary that aims to provide refuge to animals in need.

Together, we are seeking a loving home for a gentle mother cat and her four adorable kittens that are available for rehoming in the upcoming weeks. The rehoming fee will be inclusive of vaccinations, microchipping, flea/worming treatment and desexing.

These kittens have spent their entire lives with Dr Emma and have been introduced to the busy lifestyle of other animals and children. Maya, our mum cat is a lovely but shy girl who is good with other animals who would prefer a quieter household.

Enquire within to Warrandyte Vet Clinic on (03) 9844 3071 or [email protected] to offer these adorable cats a loving home.

August is DENTAL MONTH! This is a great time to take advantage of the special offers we are running!
๐Ÿ˜ 10% discount off all dental procedures under a general anaesthetic
๐Ÿ˜ FREE dental checks!

Dental disease is one of the most common problems affecting our pets. Without regular dental homecare, bacteria in the mouth builds up to form painful plaque and tartar. Advanced disease can even lead to tooth loss.
Some common signs of periodontal disease include:
- Smelly breath
- Yellow/brown tartar build up on teeth
- Reluctance to eat or reduced appetite
- Painful mouth
- Pawing at the mouth
- Dribbling
- Bleeding gums
Untreated dental disease can have a negative impact on the health of other body organs, including the kidneys, liver and heart. We recommend all pet owners to have a dental homecare regime, and call us to organise your free dental check!

Please get into contact with our lovely staff to organise a free dental check on 9844 3071!

We are very excited to introduce one of our stellar nurses, โœจChelsea!โœจ

Chelseaโ€™s childhood has always involved animals, and her ability to assist our clients to foster their bond with their pets is second to none. Taking care of pets and providing a high standard of nursing care has always been close to her heart, and she just loves giving our patients an extra cuddle in hospital! Chelsea enjoys her nursing duties in the kennels and the surgical theatre, but her amazing client service and friendly personality also places her at the forefront of our reception.
Chelsea says her favourite part of nursing is getting to know her regular clients and patients well, and learning all about her patients individual quirks! She always has treats ready to go, making even the most nervous pets feel at ease.
Chelsea is a talented football player and enjoys training and spending time with family in her spare time. She loves animals of all walks of life, but has a particular soft spot for ginger cats!
Our staff members, clients and patients all agree - Chelsea is an amazing nurse and we love having her on our team!
