Busy times fur fam... This is Jax Tora and Molly.. 3 of several I'm looking after at the moment. The photo of Jax looks like he's in a police line up 🤣 I've been looking after Jax and Tora scince Cat Nanny began which was around 2018... It's seriously taken Tora this much time to at least come out and look at me without me having to go look for her🤣 and Miss Molly is still a bubby... I've been looking after her, her brother and their crazy dog Alfie for around 18 months... Molly has always been very reserved, but today she climbed into my lap and we had a lovely cuddle on the couch, while Alfie carried on in the backyard like a complete K**b 😂 and that's why I don't do dogs 🥰

This handsome floofer is Gin Gin... I met him early this evening after receiving a desperate text from his mum for help as he had managed to get chocolate matted in his "armpit". His mum had tried to sort it herself and unfortunately had snipped him just with the tips of her scissors. By the time I got there the issue was pretty well resolved, so I just gave him a nice brush out and removed a little chocolate from his ample belly and his hind legs.
Anyway, Gin Gin was a joy to meet and now I'm home from holidays, it's business as usual.

Amongst my charges this week, is Miss Peggy, who has started observing me from a distance, rather than not observing me at all 😆 and her brother Slinky who likes to observe me from very very close up😆 Yesterday he showed me his toe beans while we sat in the sun on the stairs and I also have my room full of fishy friends and they all go crazy when the door opens... ❤️

Today I met this little Lady Chance, while she's not one of the most unkept fluffers, she still had a lot of hair to be removed. Today her and I managed about an hour and 15 mins together, with many breaks for her to settle back down and not bust out her tiger talons on me. Although we removed a lot of undercoat there's still more to come out, so I'm going back next week to have another session with her.
It's not about the money for me it's about developing a trusting relationship with these cats so they have a fear free experience and welcome me back into their lives having had a positive interaction with me. ❤️🐾

This is my Freyja receiving treatment and L❤️VE from Nicole of Cheekypaws Canine Remedial Massage . Although the name suggests canine care, she's also happy to wade into the world of feline rehab.. reach out to her if you have a stiff moggy (😄) cat that could do with some gentle handling... (Sorry I couldn't think of another way to write that) 😄😄

Meet Ra and Blossom, I've known Ra scince he was a wee kit and came into the vet clinic as part of an unwanted/abandonded litter... Now 15 years later I'm looking after him for the very first time, for my dear friend Alison, while she finally gets a long awaited and well deserved break. Along with Ra im looking after his sister Blossom who is also an old timer and a fairly recent addition to the household. Now they're seniors they both require meds and twice daily visits to have them administered. They've both developed age related illnesses.These two get along quite well, but I'm suspicious it could be cause they're to old to bother really and don't have enough energy to give each other the rounds of the kitchen table ❤️

This is Matt... I was visiting him last week... He wasn't overly enthused with my presence. Mostly he just stayed in his room and yelled at me from there (like one of my own kids really).
Obviously I'd go and look at him, but as I knew the room was his safe place I didn't go in there.
So he'd meow at me and I'd meow back and he was happy to go downstairs and eat after he heard the door lock click shut. In time I'm hoping Matt will come around to my way of thinking which involves pats n cuddles but I'll let him do it under his own steam 💜🐾

Hello Floof Fam... I hope everyone is well... Already these 2 little Sweethearts have passed in and out of my care before I got a chance to introduce them to you and welcome them to our little kitty clouder. This is Lizzie (tabby) and Bean. They took to me like cats to catgrass, which was a very exciting change for me!! These little kids adjusted very quickly to life without mum and dad at home and were soooo smoochy and Devine. I look forward to being able to look after them again and hopefully they'll be happy about that too ❣️

Hello fur fam.
About 3 or 4 weeks ago my little Poodle Freyja woke up unable to use her hind legs :( So with the consent of my vet I was able to ask my friend Nicole at Cheekypaws Canine Remedial Massage if she was able to help us. Nic has worked in the past as a rehab vet nurse and loves all things rehab for animals. She also bought her handy little Red light therapy unit which is an uninvasive therapy to help promote healing at a cellular level using very low level laser and red light (my best explanation). Red light therapy can be used for many things including wound healing and arthritis amongst an array of other things. Anyway I wanted to share this video as it could be a good alternative for p***y cats needing a helping hand with any issues as it's so hands off :) and we all know cats prefer this method 😆You can also hear my cat in the background wanting to come out and see Nicole as she gave her the stamp of approval on the first visit 😆

Yesterday I had the pleasure of grooming out the very sweet Ellie.
We didn't think to get a before photo but I wanted to share her anyway.
Ellie is a senior girl and has hyperthyroidism and also Kidney failure. She struggles now to manage her coat and had developed some mats on her tummy which needed attention before they started pelting.
Initially she wasn't sold on the idea of being clipped but we gently got through a tummy clip and the back of her legs. We finished off with a fairly thorough brush and comb out, but most importantly, we finished off as friends. She is an exceptionally sweet girl and bombed out after the groom. I also met her sister Sallie and we gave her nails a quick trim while I was there :)
