Dear Existing Customers,
Groomzy from today till further notice is taking bookings from referrals only.
If you have a family member, neighbour, friend who wants to bring their cats to Groomzy, please send a referral. Only have to send a message to me with a name, phone number as a referral and I will contact with the person via phone asap during working hours.
Groomzy is closed on Thursdays. I took my cat back to the vet regularly since her eye was taken out last Thursday. I had a vet appointment today morning time and while I was in the vet room, my phone app was turned on to giving automated text messages to calls and texts receiving. While I was at the vet room, waiting to my cat "eye" wound cleaned out, giving her antibiotics, talking to the vet about solutions and treatments. I had calls and messages from 1 lady (never spoke her before, nor was client of Groomzy before) from her 2 phone numbers. It was just continously. And the person did not realising every time when she calls, she texts, the same automated text messages go back to her. The person was pi**ed off, threatening my business name to pull down. After I came out from the vet, I saw my phone app was very active recently. I texted the person saying I had lots of calls from this number, I was at the vet room with my cat who lost her eye. I have an automated text message, which turned on but I am closed on Thursdays. The person replied back saying only called me twice and I sound little stressed in my text message. (The person called me twice from 1 phone number, once from another phone number and lots of text messages was left by her such as: hello, Nikki, are you not calling people back?:, are you a robot? wtf? you are scam, can you call my other phone number back? I will share the news you are scam)
I decided to call the person and try to explain how this automated text messages work. Also I wanted to inform the lady about Groomzy's operating time and website for further details. I could barley finish my sentences. The person called me hunny bunny while saying to me she will thread the world that I am incapable to help her and I have no facilities to help her. This sentence from her was disturbingly sounded joyful and over and over repeated to me. And firmly telling me to agreed with her about my incapabilty and lack of facilities. And threatening me again to pull my business reputation down. Now you are wondering why I did not cut the phone line off.
Because I am a business owner and I have to stay professional.
After this lady called me hunny bunny, I decided to tell to the person that I agreed with her and I am incapable to help her and I have no facilities to help her. I thanked for the interested in Groomzy and I finished the conversation by push the red button on my phone.
It has to be stopped: rude, non sense behaviours, giving bad reputation to businesses who are unable to protect themselves via online media.
Using Online media as a weapon to release their anger, punish businesses for saying NO as an answer. Telling stories in their favour, showing businesses in a bad face.
First step from today till further notice to protect Nikki from abusive behaviours to only taking calls/messages/bookings from referrals.
No one deserves to be threatened, shouting on, talk down, telling fake stories and untrue problems.
Hard to stay professional. I read somewhere a sentence when the person wrote that he/she only stays professional if the other side stays professional.
I have to say, I am trying so hard, but I could not protect myself, nor my business from nasty people until now.
At the moment my solution is to only take calls/texts/bookings via referrals.
And see how things are going. I would like to spend my working hours and non working days in piece.
I am working on sensitive cats. I have to stay calm. No cats deserve to be worked on when a groomer is stressed. It is not fair with the cat, nor the owner of the cat. And it is not fair with me either.
Once again, dear existing customers, your friends, family members, colleagues, neighbours will be welcomed and Nikki will call them all back and give them appointments.
