Hi every one, we have finally moved and slowly sorting through boxes 😵
But I have made a temporary set up that allows me to continue to groom a couple of dogs as I continue to organise the family and house

I have appts tomorrow (Friday 26/4)
And I have some days next week too!

My new place is in Croydon hills (near Yarra Rd just behind chirnside)

Hi everyone,
I ve been sitting on this for a long time now but I’ve exhausted all options.
Seeing the sudden decline and passing of a friend has made me realise that I need to put this out there and ask for help.

As some may know, we have been without the family car since Boxing Day.
Made it to outside Holbrook and the engine seized.
It had already cost ALOT money just to get it towed to our house.
To source and fit a reconditioned engine in we have been quoted over $12,000
I’m struggling to get to my treatment and hospital appts
I’m relying on family and friends to get the kids to school and kinder and even to the basic shopping

It’s taken a massive toll on my mental health and I haven’t been able to make any memories with my kids because I’m stuck home.

The grim reality is that I most likely won’t live to see another car even if we scrimp and save every penny for months or even a year

So I’ve bitten the bullet and im going to ask for help, I’ve made a go fund me for this goal and I would really appreciate any help at all.
Please share it around
My goal is to get our car back on the road or buy another 7 or 8 seater car
I really hate asking but I’m feeling really deflated and pretty desperate 🥹

Hi everyone, I've been quiet as I haven't been working much.
I have started a new chemo and it really has been kicking my butt.
As I try to navigate the side effects and figure out my good days and bad days I won't be able to commit to apts too far ahead.

Hi everyone, I know I've been quiet. As you can imagine life has changed quite a bit and I'm trying to stay positive and with so many hospital appts and treatment, my grooming has had to be reduced a lot.

Hi Everyone,
I know I have been M I A recently and I have a few msgs to get back to, but I unfortunately have been given devastating news with my health and it's not good.
So it is with a heavy heart that will need to take a big step back from grooming for awhile.
I will know more over the next few weeks but I will be only doing very limited dogs.
I need to attend appts and treatment
But most importantly I need time to process this and spend time with my young family

I hope to be able to groom soon to some extent but please bare with me during this extremely difficult time for us.
I will be contacting clients that are booked in as I may need to move apts around. And if you have msged me, I will know more after Monday.

Please note that I will no longer be working weekends as it is extremely important that I spend the time with my kids, I know you all will understand and I thank you all for your support

Hi Everyone, January has really flown by!

I am starting to take appts for Feb.

Please just few notes that are important

🐾my little girl Mia is starting prep this year so I might not be back from school drop off until closer to 930 for the 930 apts

🐾 I am not working full days or everyday at this stage. So please keep this in mind when booking

🐾most importantly, please be patient with picking up, understandably newborns and baby's are demanding so I will need to take time and breaks for feeding settling little Cooper.

I look forward to seeing everyone again

Hi Everyone,
We didn't announce that we were expecting him, but he is here, the final piece that makes our family whole.
Cooper Isaac Mackenzie arrived on his due date 8/01/23 at a whooping 4.7kg.

After fighting cancer, facing the struggles of the last few years, realise life is too short for "what ifs" and "maybes" and not to live with regret of what could be.

We didn't know how this would pan out after my treatment, which is why we kept it low key but all is going well and the kids are smitten with him

🐾I will be back Feb! 🐾

🐾I will be opening my diary and taking appts for feb next week.

🐾PLEASE NOTE THAT I WONT BE WORKING EVERYDAY OR FULL DAYS 🐾
As you can understand I will still be recovering and be able to spend time with our new addition and family.

I have 5 more days of working, I hope. (Still confident I'll be standing by the end of dec 🤣)

Still not sure of a exact date of return as yet but I will let everyone know.

I am pretty much full for the year.

I may have some bonus appts pop up if I can do more more so keep an eye out for those appts if required.

This time of year always books out fast and my days are full so please be on time as it makes me run late to the rest of the appts.

Hi Everyone, just a quick msg,

🐾 I have no weekend appts left for the year 🐾

I have a few spots left during the weeks but they will fill fast!

🐾 please be patient with how long your appt may take. Esp this time of year.
My days don't always go to plan and there are many reasons as to why your appt may take longer then it normally does:

Late arrivals- sometimes clients are late dropping off and in turn I run late.
If you are 15 mins or more late, I'm sorry but I'll have to rebook your appt as it just runs too late into the rest of the days appts.

Matted and difficult dogs- if a dog has matting and/or doesn't like any part of the groom process, it takes extra time and care to make sure all matting is removed in a safe and comfortable manner. Rushing nervous, anxious and matted dogs isn't ideal. I work with sharp tools.

I may be working slower then usual or have sick kids at home.
This time of year is always the craziest and busiest so please be patient.

Hi everyone, how quick is Xmas coming this year?!

Just some important information for the next few months.

I am strongly advising everyone to think about November and December appts now as I will be taking most of, if not all of January off.

I will be working (hopefully) until the end of December and I will be back in feb. Dates aren't certain yet but I am giving everyone the heads up to plan your grooms around the time I'm taking off in jan.

Hi everyone, I really hate to do this and I'm so sorry but I'll have to move all appts to Tuesday / Wednesday onwards next week.

Covid has hit the house again and I really hate having to move peoples appts but I need to do the right thing.

It really is a big blow to small businesses and sole traders when we have to iso and inconvenience everyone but
I will do my best to fit everyone in again.

I really do have the best and most understanding clients.

I can not wait to get back into it, you all know I'll be itching to get my hands back on my clippers and scissors once iso is up

🐾PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NEW PRICES ARE IN SINCE JULY 1st.
ALL GROOMS AND SERVICES HAVE INCREASED BY $5 EACH

🐾 I know the weather is freezing lately but regular grooming is still extremely important.

🐾 please brush and comb your dogs at home between visits. I know many love the shaggy and longer coats but they do take ALOT of maintenance and regular visits to keep the coat long.

I can not to much with a knotted and matted coat.
