Dog Poisoned by the Diffuser.
On Saturday night, the owner arrived home late, and the dog didn’t recognize him. Given her background as a nanny, she assumed the pup might have been startled awake or even experiencing a night terror. However, on Sunday, the dog was still acting off. That’s when she remembered her new diffuser had been running and decided to turn it off. By Sunday afternoon, things seemed a bit better.

The next day, the dog sitter mentioned that the dog wouldn’t come out from under the bed—a real surprise for a usually cheerful pet. The owner hurried home early and found her dog looking confused and scared once again. Alarmed, she took him to the emergency vet.

It turned out that the tea tree oil used in the diffuser is toxic to dogs. Fortunately, tests showed that his liver was okay, but the situation was still serious. The vet administered fluids under his skin to help eliminate the toxins.

According to both the vet and poison control, these cases are becoming more common as essential oils grow in popularity. They urge everyone to double-check that the oils they’re using aren’t hazardous to their pets. ThePaws.net - All Things Dog

The Oodle/Poodle walking Group was back together today after Christmas/New Year Holidays and cancelled sessions due to the heat. Well the faces or perhaps those tongues say it all! 🤣 They were all so happy to see each other, lots of kisses in the DOGS of Vic Ute as they all got picked up and then fun times! Poor Dante was exhausted 💙🩷🐾🐶

We have now closed for Christmas Holidays and Kenzo from our Advanced Class at Westerfolds Park dressed up for his last lesson. Existing Classes will start back on the 1st & 2nd February and new classes on the 25th & 26th January. Merry Christmas - thank you to all our clients for such a great year of lots of fun, laughs and making our dogs even better! See you all in 2025 for more fun and good times with our dogs.

It was a beach walk & lunch on the beach for some of the Albert Park Lake Advanced Class today for our last class for the year. A good time had by all, especially some like Arthur doing his impersonation of Santa with sand in his beard and Henry the German Shepherd who isn’t in the group photo cause he could stop running around having fun!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Imelda Jane & Hamish visited Santa recently to let him know they need to be on the “nice” list, not the “naughty” list and not to believe everything you hear about Westies 🤣. This weekend will be our last classes for the year, let’s hope the weather co-operates 🎄🐾

To our loyal followers, it’s Lynda here. I’m reaching out one last time with a plea for help. We really need to get to our goal before the end of the month. It's crucial.

We’ve really feeling the strain of the calls coming in. We were put in this planet to help dogs and puppies in need and it’s our promise to you that we will do whatever it takes to help those in their darkest hours.

Just like Cosmin and Edite. Taken to the pound with another 13 dogs from the same house - they look like 3 months olds but have a full mouth of adult teeth so are probably closer to 6 months old. Too sad for words.

They both have advanced mange, so easily preventable but now that they are in this state need urgent vet treatment and time consuming care.

Our team are doing what we can for them. It will be a long road to recovery but we will be there every step of the way for them. Our carers are amazing – they are angels on this earth. There is no other way to put it ###

We are literally hoping upon hope, that we get to our goal before midnight, before the next month begins. We know with Christmas around the corner it will be even busier.

We can’t actually put the exhaustion into words. However, tonight it’s in your hands to get us to the goal and relieve some of the anxiety we face

12 year old Elena successfully completed our Basic Obedience Course and today the Intermediate Obedience Course with her dog Bomber. She has shown maturity beyond her years with her training and has put in the work and consistency to get her dog over the line. Well done Elena & Bomber!
