It was a beach walk & lunch on the beach for some of the Albert Park Lake Advanced Class today for our last class for the year. A good time had by all, especially some like Arthur doing his impersonation of Santa with sand in his beard and Henry the German Shepherd who isn’t in the group photo cause he could stop running around having fun!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Imelda Jane & Hamish visited Santa recently to let him know they need to be on the “nice” list, not the “naughty” list and not to believe everything you hear about Westies 🤣. This weekend will be our last classes for the year, let’s hope the weather co-operates 🎄🐾

To our loyal followers, it’s Lynda here. I’m reaching out one last time with a plea for help. We really need to get to our goal before the end of the month. It's crucial.

However, we’re still $24,237 short and there’s only a few hours to go. It would mean the world to us and our team of volunteers and foster carers if we could get there.

We’ve really feeling the strain of the calls coming in. We were put in this planet to help dogs and puppies in need and it’s our promise to you that we will do whatever it takes to help those in their darkest hours.

Just like Cosmin and Edite. Taken to the pound with another 13 dogs from the same house - they look like 3 months olds but have a full mouth of adult teeth so are probably closer to 6 months old. Too sad for words.

They both have advanced mange, so easily preventable but now that they are in this state need urgent vet treatment and time consuming care.

Our team are doing what we can for them. It will be a long road to recovery but we will be there every step of the way for them. Our carers are amazing – they are angels on this earth. There is no other way to put it ###

We are literally hoping upon hope, that we get to our goal before midnight, before the next month begins. We know with Christmas around the corner it will be even busier.

We can’t actually put the exhaustion into words. However, tonight it’s in your hands to get us to the goal and relieve some of the anxiety we face

Treating mange and other emergencies we face is expensive and to be honest we need to do all we can, so I’m literally asking every single person on our page, to donate just $5. It would mean the world.

Today, we honor the brave soldiers and the loyal dogs who served alongside them in times of war. 🐾❤️ Their courage and companionship were invaluable, making them heroes in our hearts.

12 year old Elena successfully completed our Basic Obedience Course and today the Intermediate Obedience Course with her dog Bomber. She has shown maturity beyond her years with her training and has put in the work and consistency to get her dog over the line. Well done Elena & Bomber!

Our recent Board & Train Graduate Bentley the Sheepadoodle had “his op to remove his bits” and to add to the insult, now has to wear this! Oh Bentley, you are so cute 💙

It gives us such joy as Dog Trainers when you get clients who put in the work to get the results with their dogs and these guys have definitely put in 100% with their beautiful boy. Jolene, Milin & Buddy started a Basic Obedience Course with us with a typical Samoyed Puppy - full of exuberance, sometimes stubborn, lack of concentration, no focus on owner, lots of energy, why walk when you can run & pull attitude, jumping all over everyone when greeting them and just full on over the top excitement. Jolene could barely hold onto Buddy when she started the course but now can walk him under effective control, greet people and other dogs, hold a sit, hold a drop and so much more. They took out the Best in Class Award for their group yesterday and there was no one more deserving. Well done you guys!

A cold winter’s day at Albert Park Lake & a great day for a Trail Walk with the Basic Obedience Class & the Intermediate/Advanced Class. Proofing what is worked on in class with everyday life’s distractions!

It’s so great to see a 6 y.o. (Harper) in control of her 2 y.o. Labradoodle (Hudson) on a family walk! A lot of hard work has gone into beautiful Hudson by The Parkinson Family starting in Puppy Playgroup and working their way through to the Advanced Class at Westerfolds, where Harper and her Dad Rob are still regulars. Way to go guys and we are so proud of you Harper, well done!
