Guinness doing his after bath zoomies π Funniest little man π
Best way to end a Saturday, sitting and chilling out with everyone. The older dogs all got to hang out with the babies today, Bickie just loves them and gets down to their level. Moonshine and Cider are in this video getting some gentle love β€οΈ
(Excuse the 7 year old humans commentary in the background, he was being swarmed by the rest of the pups π)
Mr Guinness getting some love this afternoon.
He's such a love bug π
Video of Sambucca being the gentle little sweetheart she is
First toys (drink themed ofcourse) ππ They were a 5am hit, maybe tomorrow we can get a sleep in!
Hooch π₯ A bit of a video showing his personality
We have some first steps happening! A bit of a dark video as it was very early morning but the babies are kicking goals π
Bath day here today before everyone needs to spend the next few days inside under the air-conditioning. Bickie is getting her itchy bits scratched by the dryer β€οΈ
Just a pretty Noodle boy ππ
Let's talk shedding!
Cookie is blowing her coat and getting ready to come in to season, undesexed girls shed far worse than other Aussies as their hormones make them drop nearly everything (I call this them wearing their bikini π)
Usually it's twice a year but between these times they are pretty easy to maintain.
Desexed Aussies shed MUCH less but do require brushing and bathing to maintain a knot free coat and keep them comfortable, they still turn over their coat but without the rush of hormones it's not as extreme as entire Aussies.
Australian Shepherds shed less than many shorter coated breeds like Labradors, German Shepherds and even Dalmatians but this doesn't mean we can neglect the fact they still need weekly brushing and monthly bathing either at home with good products or at a grooming salon π
What our weekend mornings look like π Bickie is only 3 months younger than my youngest son and has grown up being one of the kids. She just loves play time π
How else do you keep dogs and kids entertained during the holidays π
6 months old this past weekend! Where has the time gone?!
A little bit bigger than the last time he did this β€οΈ
Babies having a play with the big kids this (very early) morning. With 10 of them I split them up so the older dogs don't have 10 sets of sharp teeth bombarding them.
The puppies love making friends, playing and learning social ques off the other dogs β€οΈ
Reaper (Carolina Reaper for his full name) has no idea he isn't an Aussie too and is particularly good with the babies, allowing a few more sharp baby tooth bites than some of the older Aussies π
Noodle fitting as many toys in his mouth as possible π These puppies inherited his absolute LOVE for soft toys and carry them around just like their daddy
Mochi making the most of her 1 on 1 inside time π
