As the 2024 draws to a close and we welcome in 2025, just a reminder that even though us humans love the noise and spectacle of Fireworks, many of our beloved dogs do not.
Those that do have stress heads(like 2 of my guys), please ensure they are safe n secure this evening

Santas helper has finished sorting through the photos from the weekend and they are now up here on facebook.

Thank you to all our members who came down today to celebrate Christmutts day, our final day of 2024.

The weather gods were on our side today and a lot of fun was had by all who attended. Your goody bags contain an event calendar for 2025 make sure you pop this on your fridge and take not of the important dates.

The following dogs who left early today : Starr, Max, Lupin and Syrup. we will be at the club rooms between 10 and 11am next Sunday if you would like to come and collect your doggy bags. (if the bags are not collected on Sunday, they will be unavailable for collection and forfeited due to perishable items)

One of a raffle prizes was won by the lovely pup Mable, your prize will also be at the club room next week if you would like to come and collect it otherwise you can collect this in the new year.

We hope that all members and their four legged pals had a wonderful morning, we look forward to welcoming you all back for a new year in 2025.

We will be posting photos over the next few days so keep your eyes out for the Amazing photos Jane was so kind to take for you all.

Thank you to all our committee/volunteers and instructors who helped set up and run the events of the day your time and willingness to help does not go unnoticed and is very much appreciated.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our last day for the year, CHRISTMUTTS break up day will begin at 10am.

It will be a day of fun and games, Santa Pictures and time to celebrate.

We will have some great raffle prizes up for grabs so be sure to grab your raffle tickets.

Remember to dress up in your Christmas gear (both you and your dogs).

Food and Drinks will be provided. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Class 1, 3 and 4 start at 9:30am
Class Prep and 2 start at 10.30am

Come down and grab a bit of Breaky before or after class:

Bacon and Egg Rolls for $6.00 or $8.00 in a combo

or grab yourself a sneaky treat while you wait.

Good Evening members.

Friendly reminder that our Christmutts Breakup Day will be on 8th December 2024.

Please make sure you register your attendance. registrations close on Sunday 1st December to allow time to prepare the gift bags and catering.

If you would like to add your name to the list please register your name on Sunday at the check-in desk or send us a message or email to let us know.

We have planned a morning of fun and games for you and your dogs, a BBQ lunch, a photo with Santa Paws and a gift bag.

We will have raffle prizes to give away and plenty of laughter to be had.

Djerriwarrh Festival is Tomorrow.
For those who are participating in the Parade please see below for your meeting point.

Assembly Time: 11AM - 11.15AM
Assembly Area High Street between Station Street & Coburns Road (Opposite Lazy Moes)
Parade Start Time: 11.30am
Parade Finish Area Corner of Smith and Mackenzie Streets

If you require a blue club shirt these will be available from Jane at the muster point.

You can participate in the parade with or with out your dogs.
We look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow.

For those who are helping out in the Pet Expo Stall, your shift times have been emailed through please let me know if you have not received your email.

As the temperature is going to be in the high 30's tomorrow we will have refreshments available, please remember to wear your hat and your sunscreen.

Good Afternoon,

Just a few reminders, Firstly we will be participating in the Djerriwarrh Festival on Saturday 23rd November, thank you to all who have registered to participate in the Street Parade and assist at the Pet Expo Stall. (please check your emails for more information).

Secondly, as our year is almost at a close I would like to remind everyone that we are having our Christmutts break up day on the 8th December. If you have not registered your attendance, please do so by 1st December to ensure your dog receives their Christmutts gift from Santa Paws. This will also ensure you are counted for catering and your Santa Paws photo.

Well done to all members and dogs that competed on Sunday at the “ROCKY SHIELD” interclub competition against Macedon Ranges dog club.

Everyone should be pleased with their dogs and themselves, it takes alot to go into a ring under a complete stranger to be judged and critiqued as to how you and your dogs are going as a team.
Everyone’s scores contributed toward the end result of Melton being successful in retaining the shield.

Never get disappointed as you and your dog are always learning and every combination are individuals.

Congratulations to all who participated in the Rocky Shield today. We were blessed with some wonderful weather and great competitors from Macedon Rangers.

For the third consecutive year Melton Dog Obedience Club has come away from the Rocky Shield as Victors.

Well done to all the competitors who placed and to all those who were not so lucky just remember that your scores helped the club retain the title, it is a team effort.

You should all be so very proud of how you performed today.
We hope you all had wonderful day and once again CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE.

Good Morning Everyone!

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Sunday 10th November) the MDOC is hosting our annual interclub competition "the Rocky Shield"

All those members that have entered check in opens at 9am and closes at 9.45am sharp, late entrants will not be accepted.

We will have the canteen open for your breakfast, lunch and refreshment needs.

As it is a long day of competitors having their turn in the ring and there is some waiting around, bring your comfortable chair and a blanket for your dog to relax on.

Raffle tickets are going to be for sale we have some pretty great prizes up for grabs, so be sure to grab your tickets.

The day will conclude with the ribbon presentations for each class and the presentation of the "Rocky Shield" to the victorious club.

** We will be running our Prep Class as usual at 10.40am.**

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for a great day of fun with your fur babies.
