UPDATE 10th April

A big thank you to everyone who has shared this post. Unfortunately Harley was found and is now in doggy heaven. RIP beautiful Boy.

Our beloved-gentle-boy Harley is missing since 4 April 2024. He went missing the morning of the 4th in the Parwan (3340) area. He is not a wanderer and he is his owners companion and shadow. Not returning home is extremely out of character for Harley.

We have 4 places left for the 10 Week Basic Class and 5 Week Intermediate Level at the special price of $400.
Class start date is the 20th April at our NEW ground - Melton Girl Guides, 1 Pinkerton Street, Melton.
Included in the price is a Training Halter and 1.8m Lead.
10 Week Basic Class starting time is 10am
5 Weeks in the Intermediate is 9am - you can start any Saturday after you have completed the Basic Class. This is non consecutive, you are guaranteed 5 Weeks in Intermediate Class.

Brigittes Dog School will be moving to a new training ground. All new intakes from the 6th April will be at our new ground. Our new ground is the Melton Girl Guides, 1 Pinkerton Street, Melton (off Yuille St). Puppies will now be run indoors.

For the next two weeks you can get a $20 discount if you book one of the following classes.

4 Week Puppy Class - normally $130, enter the code ‘puppyapril, only pay $110.

10 Week Basic Class - normally $350, enter the code ‘basicapril’ only pay $320.

I thought you all might like to know that CHOPPER is home again after 6 weeks away. Bottom line, he was stolen.

This is the news I have been waiting for, now let’s hope Chopper is still the beautiful dog today that he was when he came to our dog school last year.

New to Brigittes Dog School

5 Week Training package is now available to anyone who has completed the 10 Week Basic Class after the 30th June 2023. This is NOT a set 5 weeks. You will always get 5 weeks of training even if you miss a week or two.

Class starts from the 3rd February 2024.

Normal cost is $130. If you book via the link below you will receive a $20 discount and only pay $110 for the 5 weeks.

One of our most recent success stories is with Leroy (German Shepherd pictured). Leroy has been coming to Brigitte's dog school since he was a little puppy and continued on through our classes since. Leroy is a beautifully, big and excitable boy, who loves people but just can't understand he is too big to play with all dogs. Here for the first time in our advanced class, Leroy was happy to say hello to Rufus this morning without barking.
There were some tears by said owners, but each week Leroy and his humans have been working so hard and so patiently with him over the 12 months of attendance to get to this point, and it finally got there. Well done Dion and Kim

Unfortunately it is very difficult to make the decision whether to cancel or not early in the morning before classes start and it is raining. Sometimes we get it wrong. Today we made the call not to cancel as the previous cancellation turned out to be the wrong one. We do the best we can to make the right call.
