About me
I started pet sitting for family and friends, then I got to see how much happier pets are in their own home or another home just as loving, rather than a kennel. Owning whippets for over 30 years, I know this breed don’t do well in kennels or some other pooches. So I decided to take it one step further and started to travel with my 2 whippets, house and pet sitting along the way. I got to
look after some of Australia’s most beautiful pets, from Great Danes, Whippets, Pugs to chickens. I have now look after animals in Vic, NSW, Qld and WA and loved every minute of it. I have been an animal lover all my life and I am very passionate about thier welfare. I have been involved in rescue for some time, fostering dogs until they are ready for their furever homes. Now I am back in Melbourne and looking after pets in my own home or the animals home. My furkids, Buddy and Rosie of course come with me. They are both very used to other dogs coming and going, or us turning up at house to stay. Both are well socialised
What I offer
Your pet with have basically 24 hour attention, which will include lots of cuddles, love, play and full use of the comforts of a home. If I do go out for any reason, the yard is fully fenced. I have a double garage, a cubby and two kennels for shelter. We all go off to the local fenced off leash park daily. As well as lots of play time outside during the day. I allow them all to sleep inside, unless instructed other wise by owner. During the colder months, the heater stays on constantly. What to bring
I prefer if the pets come with own food as to not have a sudden change of diet. But will supply if neccessary at an additional cost. I have also found bringing their own bed helpful in settling them in. As it has smells of home. Leads, collars, car harness. Vet details, immunization records, any medication if required. If long term, flea and worm prevention. Microchip details and council registration tag on collar
