Introducing-
A special mare.
Nessy.

She is massive! 16.3ish.
Not a beginners horse nor will be used in the school for a while as she's getting cobwebs dusted.

Wonderfully ridden today by Ella. She just arrived yesterday.

She will be used also as a broodmare to produce solid clydie xs for us also 🥰

Her hooves are massive!!!

Arli Lou- I've had her for about 2y. She can still be a bit funny to catch, but once she's caught, she's good.
She came to me in foal but lost the foal at 9 weeks old.

Arli Lou has extensive ground work. I can clip her without sedation. Can be hard tied and can walk directly behind her.

She is a very quiet trail horse. Has not been hot or spooky out and about. Doesn't care about roos or emus. Not the best jumper but goes over.

I've floated her a few times, good to float.

Arli Lou has spent a couple weeks getting her breaking in finished off where she spent 15km- 20km with cattle and sheep.

She's a sensitive type and can still be a little touchy at times, however I've easily been able to have confident intermediate riders on her no problem.

She is a one person horse, not an everyone horse, which is the only reason she's for sale. She doesn't suit the busy riding school life required of her. And will flourish with one on one love and care.

She is very sweet and sensible on the ground.

A teen/adult would love her- she is a wicked trail horse.
No beginners.

On a different note, my 2nd born, Megaverse MJ, will be broken in this year by my favourite people, Paul and Lesley.

They did a wonderful job on my young stallion and my brumby.

However, I like to well prep them before they head off.
Mandalorian spent several weeks being long reined and gw done before heading off.

And this big fella will be just the same. He is booked for gelding in 3 weeks, his hernia to be fixed in 7 weeks.

Preparation is key.

I'm very keen for my big boy to be broken in, he's 17h and 3yo end of the year, but he's docile and sensible. He's got a magnificent trot that screams quality and his canter is very balanced.
I'm just getting him used to wearing gear and teaching him to give to the bit at this stage.

Slow and steady.

I hazard a guess he'll be a ripper jumper, as he's learned to jump paddock fences! His mum was extremely awkward over a jump lol.

He wore his mums bridle today for the first time, didn't really fit, definitely needing a wb bridle. And I don't think burgundy is his colour lol.

We have a bit of a buddy system here.
It works extremely well.

Pairing an introvert with an extrovert- the children come out if their shells, communication skills increase as they talk amongst each other to problem solve and help each other.

2 hours of riding and ground work in a group setting. This is aimed at encouraging team work, social skills, language development and further riding skills.

Every 2nd Saturday starting 8th of February.

1pm to 3pm.

✔️Minimum age 6yo
✔️Horses and helmets provided
✔️Can bring your own pony for discounted price of $85

⚠️Straight beginners encouraged to have several private one on one lessons prior to group lessons to get the best out of these group sessions.
